A U.S. Congressional adviser is turning up the volume on his long-standing warnings that terrorists who have set up camps in the Balkans now easily can reach into Europe, telling reporters in Serbia that the idea now has a name – "Balkans 2020."

Congressional adviser Yossef Bodansky, director of the U.S. House of Representatives Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare since 1988, told Slovenian Finance that the goal of the campaign is to set up terrorist camps in Bosnia, Kosovo, Sandzak and Croatia.

He said at least five intelligence agencies now are working to track people and arms arriving from Arab nations, in hopes of preventing that plan from becoming reality, according to a broadcast station report.

As early as the 1990s there were reports that Iranians were establishing themselves in the Balkans. The U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committer under Chairman Larry E. Craig concluded that it would be a "breathtaking understatement" to say the Bill Clinton administration erred in facilitating the penetration of Iranians into the Balkans.

Bodansky joined in the discussion shortly later, with an analysis that found Osama bin Laden was focusing on the Balkans for a new wave of anti-Western terrorism. (Also see article on this subject on this Antimullah site - White Al Qaeda).

He confirmed then that radical Islamists decided to use the terrorism infrastructure of the Balkans as a "key facilitator" in the proposed escalation of conflict aimed at Europe, Israel and the United States.

A new terrorist recruiter, identified by Bodansky as Shahid Emir Mussa Ayzi, a veteran of Afghanistan who was close to the al-Qaida elite as well as Taliban leadership, was appointed to run special operations.

A followup report, according to Bodansky, noted that "persons of Slav ethnicity" were being added to the Islamist jihad, and Ayzi said some of these "white devils" already had been indoctrinated and trained to carry out martyrdom-strikes "in a number of European cities."

He reported that the training actually was done under the cover of the Albanian National Army, with many senior officers being al-Qaida affiliates.

Al-Qaida made use of the unsettled diplomatic aftermath of the Bosnia and Kosovo conflicts, and for a decade already the most senior leaders in al-Qaida have been visiting the Balkans, the reports said.

A report in the Wall Street Journal Europe edition noted the U.S. was probably two years behind when it started expressing concern about Islamic terrorists in the Balkans, and by that time they already were established.

Reports also note that Clinton's administration allowed the shipment of arms to Muslim groups in the Balkans during the conflicts over Kosova, Bosnia and others.

Bodansky, who's also served as senior editor of "Defense & Foreign Affairs" publications, has authored five major books on strategic issues. His 1999 best seller was "Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War on America."

A House Subcommittee report also has found that the Clinton's Iranian policy gave Iran "an unprecedented foothold in Europe and has recklessly endangered American lives and US strategic interests."

According to the Senate Republican Policy Committee, Clinton's mistake in allowing the infiltration of the Balkans by Muslim extremists "calls to mind the similar mistake of the Carter Administration, which in 1979 began lavish aid to the new Sandinista government in Nicaragua in the hopes that (if the United States were friendly enough) the nine comandates would turn out to be democrats, not communists, despite abundant evidence to the contrary."

Even at this point, the development of unrest in those disputed regions is apparent. A spokesman said the Sandzak Intellectual circle will ask Serbian president Boris Tadic to ban all Bosniak parties in Serbia, since "these parties practice violence, use minors for political games and use hate speech and intolerance."

And in Kosovo, the issue of sovereignty remains undecided. Tadic has said he expects to adopt a report and plan to refer to Kosovo as a province enjoying essential autonomy within sovereign Serbia.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it is a positive item for distribution for the following reasons:

1. The tone is belligerent and feeds into the worst negative stereotypes of Jews as pushy and vindictive.

2. Israel was not founded as revenge for thousands of years of persecution and repression, but as a refuge for Jews specifically fleeing new anti-Semitic movements in Europe (Herzl and the Zionists), and then because no country would take in those fleeing Hitler, including Palestine under the British Mandate.

By late 1947 several hundred thousand refugee Jews were languishing in European camps that rivaled the concentration camps, and no one wanted them. It was their plight that motivated such support as the Weizmann faction got from other countries. This is not in the video.

3. Arab opposition was fomented by their elites because Israel was a progressive social democratic society that was modernizing and that hoped to uplift local Arabs (and regional ones too), which meant a prosperous working class and farmers, hence the emergence of middle-class that would throw the sheiks out. They are not mentioned in the video.

4. Oil companies were not thrilled about a quasi-socialist Israel in the midst of Arab lands and they had powerful allies in the U.S. and U.K. diplomatic corps. They are not mentioned in the video.

5. Britain opposed the U.N. boundaries awarded to the Jewish state (under the partition) because it wanted to maintain control of the Negev as an airplane base, positioned to reach the Soviet Union. U.K. interests are not mentioned in the video.

Meir Kahane was a polarizing figure, and I note the video mentions his name at the end (as a dedication?). If you want to appeal to moderate potential allies, I would reconsider using this material. If you wish to circulate my message, please feel free to do so.

REFRESH YOUR MEMORY - WHY WE HAD 9/11

If you are undecided about voting for Democrats or Republicans in the coming election remember the following:

1. Jimmy Carter - an idiotic Liberal Democrat was the root cause for the Islamic terrorism rampant in the world today.

And gave fathered today's global terrorist dangers.

Quite apart from also acting as a "surrogate Soviet", instead of an American president with American national interests, by putting into place policies that repeatedly benefited the Soviets - or removing obstacles to Soviet advances in Africa (via Cubans) and blinding American intelligence by changing an American satellite trajectory monitoring Cuba at a time when Soviets wanted to once again bring in missiles into Cuba.

2. Then came Socialist/Liberal Democrat Billy Clinton. While a Fulbright Scholar Europe he secretly visited the Soviet Union and as a strong Socialist, borderline Communist, philosophically buddied up to them.

By the time he became President, Ronald Reagan had "dismantled" the Soviets, so Clinton turned to the only major Communist power - China - for support and in return helped their aims rather than the best interests of America.

For example, he allowed transfer of critical U.S. technology for missile guidance to China, so they could drop their nuclear warheads with more precision on his fellow Americans. As long as they contributed to his "election war" chest that did not bother him.

Through his Justice Department, he put up barriers (Deputy Attorney General Gorelick handling that one with special regulations) to prevent easy sharing of intelligence information among the various intel agencies and building a huge wall between the CIA and the FBI where they could not share acquired knowledge to fight terrorism. Which contributed strongly to 9/11 happening.

He then proceeded to emasculate the CIA (apart from refusing to meet with the Director) by ordering that CIA operatives were not allowed to work with or through anyone with a criminal record - thus blocking infiltration of any organization specially terrorist ones, whose members were not upstanding citizens.

If you want to infiltrate a criminal, terrorist or even a neighborhood gang to try to obtain information, your entry HAS to be through someone with a bad record that they trust. They do not have "goody-goody" members. But, no, this was no longer permitted by orders of Clinton and his gang.

No longer able to do their jobs, operational CIA employees resigned in droves and the rest became corporate career types, which will take at least another five years to revive into an effective spy agency to protect us. To be achieved over the resistance and even sabotage by the Clintonista, anti-Bush contingents still in various positions, who refuse to risk near retirement careers by making decisions or promoting action rather than talk.

One of these CIA absolute Bush-haters was or may still be part of the team which provides the Daily Intelligence briefing to the President. You envisage the rest.

Here, they go hand in hand with the heavy mass of similarly minded State Department careerists, who openly remark their job is to talk and negotiate, not propose or support action. They, therefore, support the European foot dragging, endless talk, talk, talk, with parties like the Mullahs, who play them like a foolish fiddle.

Whether it was Arafat disregarding everything to which he set his name toward a peace, Saddam Hussein who ignored 14 United Nation Resolutions and dragged talks out for more than a decade, or presently the Iranian Mullahs, the neo-Hojatieh version currently in charge - whose destructive mindset, way beyond even the Sunni Wahabbis, delights to be appocalyptic and promotes Armageddon as part of their religion.

Throughout all this, in the eight years of the Clinton Administration he and his top Departmental Secretarial positions all functioned to thwart efforts by intelligence agencies, the military and active anti-terrorist operations to use common sense and strike at the roots of the enemy. More from fear of his Chinese sugar-daddies being netted than to protect the Islamic terrorists.

An ABC miniseries starting next Sunday has reaped howls of protest from Clinton and his sidekicks because it reveals their ineptitude (at best) or purposeful obstruction (closer to reality) of agencies tasked with preventing terrorism or having a strong counter-intelligence to prevent our military and nuclear secrets helping China jump a decade ot two ahead of where they were techmologically.

Some analysts, myself included, sense that Clinton's excuse or rationale to himself for his repeated treachery, was to believe that if he balanced the strength of China closer to America, then there would be less likelihood of a conflict - because America would flinch. And this justified his taking huge foreign campaign donations - predominantly from Chinese sources.

As a character insight, of Clinton and his closest staff, remember he illegally took, some might say "stole", a large number of White House items at the end of his term of office and his staff vandalized the White House. The items were returned and the damage repaired but that's the person and the buddies who were in charge for eight years.

And as the video of this article shows (click on article title), he had a splendid chance to "eliminate" Ossama Bin Laden and his insiders. He also refused Sudan's offer to deliver Ossama to him "because he did not have a strong enough legal case with which to prosecute him." In fact, he passed on EIGHT occasions to capture or kill Ossama Bin Laden. Eight!

Hiding behind his handling of terrorism as a "law enforcement" matter with burdens of proof and American protective procedures rarely emulated in any other country, he refused to take Bin Laden when he was offered to him on silver platter by Sudan and when Saudi Arabia did not want to do his dirty work, he dropped the subject and allowed this curse to infect the world and kill some 3,000 Americans in one day on 9/11. More than than US caualties throughout the years of the Iraq war.

If you want you and your family and friends to die sooner than you have to then vote for a Democrat. There are some good ones but so rare as to be the exception which proves the rule. They are talkers not doers and since Republicans do not have a filibuster breaking majority in the Senate, every activity aimed at making us safer - from tighter borders to phone tapping, money flow monitoring - has been leaked to the press (including by the CIA entrenched careerists) and later blocked by liberal judges appointed by "Jimmuh" Carter and/or "Clintoon" - respectively the best Soviet and Chinese presidents America ever had.

Since August 15th, 2005, when Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad was "selected" President of the Islamic regime in Iran, nothing is business as usual, none of the former formulas and parmeters apply to analyse or project likely scenarios. Or as a basis for negotiations. This is a first time appearance of this new "animal", which is Khomeini hatred topped with appocalyptic desires and armed with nuclear weapons.

Wake up, people and smell the roses, not in your gardens but in the death wreaths on the coffins and caskets of the hundreds of thousands, nay perhaps millions, who may soon perish because we "talk" while Iran arms itself with even more nuclear weapons than it already has.

AND THEY ALREADY HAVE AT LEAST FOUR TO SIX IN SHAHAB 3 NOSE CONES!!!! Only those who want to prolong talks deny intelligence data which confirm this capability. Misleadingly saying "truthfully" that Iran does not yet have internally built nuclear weapons but ignoring the ones they have bought and have readied.

We face the World War II, Churchill and Hitler scenario replay in almost exact detail except for the actors. And Democrats appear in the role of Appeasers that cost the world well over 50 million lives.

I will also die along with you since my single voice in the wilderness cannot penetrate into the disbelief that Iran can be worse than Pol Pot. It is worse, friends. Pol Pot only killed his own countrymen, Ahmadi-Nejad would feel glorified to destroy everyone around the world. Remember the second most powerful ayatollah in Iran, Ali-Akbar Meshkini recently stated that the Islamic Regime in Iran is the only legitimate government on the face of the globe.

Procrastination is a suicide pact.

And that's what the Democrats preach and that's what they actively promote. Often using the USA Constitution as an excuse but failing to acknowledge that it was never intended to be a cult suicide pact for the American people, as Democrats are turning it into.

Republicans are by no means perfect either but definitely the lesser of two evils - specially when the safety of our nation is at stake.

For example, take Massachussetts congressman Barney Frank as an epitomy of liberal Democrat thinking, motivation and activity.

Barney Frank sponsored legislation called the "Frank Amendment" (H.R.1280) which repealed the ideological grounds for exclusion making it easier for the 9-11 hijackers and foreign terrorists to obtain visas to enter America.

Even if a visa applicant stated (or this could be proved) he was an ardent Al Qaeda supporter, under the Frank amendment he could not be refused entry into the USA.

His inept meddling in immigration policy tied the hands of at least two federal agencies for the better part of two decades, while terrorists formed their sleeper cells and plotted this nation's demise.

Luckily, Barney Frank has apparently been summarily removed from the Congressional Homeland Security Committee.

Barney Frank explained that he wanted this "easy entry" loophole so that Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a Marxist pro-Castro poet from South America could come and go any time he wanted.

A perfect example of Liberal Democrats giving priority to personal reasons over national and even patriotic imperatives. He'd rather woo and not inconvenience the trendy literati than make common sense decisions that help keep ordinary Americans safe.

Democrat Congressman John Murtha LOUDLY proclaims he wants to withdraw our troops from Iraq and base them in Okinawa (his own words). Either senility or idiocy or ill-will seem to guide this former military man, whom the Marines reject out of hand as one of their own.

Yet he is advanced by Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi as an expert (Murtha retired as a Lt.-Colonel so high level military matters never crossed his desk, nor accessed his mind) to whom America should listen.

And, worst of all, while Democrats of all shapes and sizes virulently attack everything about the Bush Administration, they have NO alternative solution to propose and whatever they field in that regard is what the Bush White House is doing put into different words, without anything new other than an umbrella "appease and retreat" policy.

There's a saying: "it takes a common laborer to destroy a building but an architect and an engineer to build one". The Democrats have firmly put themselves in the destructive shoes of the laborer and attack the "architects and engineeers" they themselves are unable to be successfully for America.

You may not want to vote for a Republican but if you have good common sense you should want even less to vote for a Democrat.

This is a reality check and we had better wake up, or we shall be destroyed.

Too often we look at events of today as just that and not from the historical perspective and the lesson we should have learned.

This lesson opens sixty-three years ago, when Nazi Germany had overrun almost all of Europe and hammered England to the verge of bankruptcy and defeat and had sunk more than four hundred British ships in their convoys between England and America for food and war materials.

At that time the U.S. was in an isolationist, pacifist mood, and most Americans wanted nothing to do with the European or the Asian war. Just as so many want nothing to do with Iraq and the war on terror.

Then along came Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, - the 9/11 of that time - and in outrage a patriotic Congress unanimously declared war on Japan, and the following day on Germany, which had not yet attacked us. (To note a liberal anti-war slogan for leaving Iraq).

It was a dicey thing. We had few allies. France was not an ally then (as it is NOT one today either), as the Vichy government of France quickly aligned itself with its German occupiers.

Germany was certainly not an ally (almost one today), as Hitler was intent on setting up a Thousand Year Reich in Europe.

Japan was not an ally, as it was well on its way to owning and controlling most of Asia.

Together, Japan and Germany had long-range plans of invading Canada and Mexico, as launching pads to get into the United States over our northern and southern borders, after they finished gaining control of Asia and Europe.

(Without being invaded Canada has become a haven for Islamists bent on the same mission and Mexico does little to prevent terrorists living there and reaching our inner sanctums).

America's only allies then were England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Australia and Russia. That was about it.

All of Europe, from Norway to Italy, except Russia in the east, was already under the Nazi heel.

America was certainly not prepared for war. America had drastically downgraded most of its military forces after WWI and throughout the depression, so that at the outbreak of WW2, army units were training with broomsticks because they didn't have guns, and cars with "tank" painted on the doors because they didn't have real tanks.

(Nor did America have the liberal leftists and Democrats acting as a fifth column as they do today and impeding chances to win and trying to ensure a loss as they do today for partisan political reasons devoid of national best interests - aided by a very left wing Main Stream Media - MSM)

And a huge chunk of our navy had just been sunk or damaged at Pearl Harbor.

Britain had already gone bankrupt, saved only by the donation of $600 million in gold bullion in the Bank of England, that was actually the property of Belgium, given by Belgium to England to carry on the war when Belgium was overrun by Hitler.

Belgium surrendered on one day, because it was unable to oppose the German invasion and the Germans bombed Brussels into rubble the next day just to prove they could. (Just as Islamist would, too).

Britain had already been holding out for two years in the face of staggering shipping losses and the near-decimation of its air force in the Battle of Britain, saved from being overrun by Germany only because Hitler made the mistake of thinking the Brits were a relatively minor threat that could be dealt with later.

He first turned his attention to Russia, at a time when England was on the verge of collapse, in the late summer of 1940.

Ironically, Russia (now selfishy compounding the Islamist threat to the world by opposing action against it) saved America's butt by putting up a desperate fight fortwo years, until the U.S. got geared up to begin hammering away at Germany.

Russia lost something like 24 million people in the sieges of Stalingrad and Moscow alone... 90% of them from cold and starvation, mostly civilians, but also more than a MILLION soldiers. (Anti-war activists would not prevent such losses - only increase them by crippling our efforts to fight the enemy).

Had Russia surrendered, Hitler would have been able to focus his entire wareffort against the Brits, then America. And the Nazis could possibly have won the war (and German would likely be the official language of Europe and perhaps America today).

All of this is to illustrate that turning points in history are often dicey things. And now, we find ourselves at another one of those key moments in history. There is a very dangerous minority (in numbers at least if not in devoted support) in Islam that either has, or wants and may soon have, the ability to deliver nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons, almost anywhere in the world.

The Islamo-fascist Jihadis, the militant Muslims, are basically Nazis in Kaffiyahs - they believe that their Islam, a radically conservative (old-fashioned by 1,300 years) form of Wahhabi Islam, should own and control the Middle East first, then Europe, then the world. (One Iranian ayatollah recently stated that the Islamic Regime of Iran is the only legitimate nation in the whole world).

And that all who do not bow to the Islamic will of thinking should be killed, enslaved, or subjugated. They want to finish the Holocaust, destroy Israel, and purge the world of Jews. This is their mantra.

There is also a "mindset" civil war raging in the MiddleEast - for the most part - not only a hot war, but a war of ideas. Islam is having its Inquisition and its Reformation, but it is not known yet which will win - the Inquisitors or the Reformationists.

If the Inquisition wins, then the Wahhabis, the Jihadis, will control the Middle East, the OPEC oil, and the delicately balanced and fragile US, European, and Asian economies.

The techno-industrial economies will be at the mercy of OPEC - not an OPEC dominated by the better educated, more rational Saudis of today, but an OPEC dominated by the Jihadis or Hojatieh proponents of apoccalypse and Armageddon like Iranian President Ahmadi-Nejad.

You want gas in your car? You want heating oil next winter? You want the dollar to be worth anything? You better hope the Jihad, the Muslim Inquisition, loses, and the Islamic Reformation wins.

If the Reformation movement wins, that is, the moderate Muslims who believe that Islam can respect and tolerate other religions and live in peace with the rest of the world, and move out of the 10th century into the 21st, then the troubles in the Middle East will eventually fade away, and a moderate and prosperous Middle East will emerge.

We have to help the Reformation win, and to do that we have to fight the Inquisition, i.e., the Saudi Wahhabi or Iranian Hojatieh movement, the Jihad, Al Qaeda and the Islamic terrorist movements.

We have to do it somewhere. And we can't do it everywhere at once. We have created a focal point for the battle at a time and place of our choosing........in Iraq. Not in New York, not in London, or Paris or Berlin, but in Iraq, (though the terrorists are moving into those arenas very quickly) where we are doing two important things.

(1) We deposed Saddam Hussein. Whether Saddam Hussein was directly involved in 9/11 or not, it is undisputed that Saddam had been actively supporting the terrorist movement for decades.

Saddam himself is a terrorist. Saddam himself was a weapon of mass destruction, who is responsible for the deaths of probably more than a million Iraqis and two million Iranians.

(2) We created a battle, a confrontation, a flashpoint, with Islamic terrorism in Iraq. We have focused the battle. We are killing bad people, and the ones we get there, we won't have to get here on our shores.

We also have a good shot at creating a democratic, peaceful Iraq, which will be a catalyst for democratic change in the rest of the Middle East, and an outpost for a stabilizing American military presence in the MiddleEast for as long as it is needed.

World War II, the war with the German and Japanese Nazis, really began with a "whimper" in 1928. It did not begin with Pearl Harbor. It began with the Japanese invasion of China.

It was a war for fourteen years before America joined it. It officially ended in 1945 -- a 17-year war - and was followed by another decade of U.S. occupation in Germany and Japan to get those countries reconstructed and running on their own again ... thus a 27 year war.

World War II cost the United States an amount equal to approximately a full year's GDP - adjusted for inflation, equal to about $12 trillion dollars.

WWII cost America more than 400,000 killed in action, and nearly 100,000 still missing in action.

The Iraq war has, so far, cost the US about $160 billion, which is roughly what 9/11 cost New York.

It has also cost about 2,200 American lives,which is roughly 2/3 of the 3,000 lives that the Jihad snuffed out in one day on 9/11.

But the cost of not fighting and winning WWII would have been unimaginably greater - a world dominated by German and Japanese Nazism.

A repeat performance is taking place daily with the Islamic movements - Nazis in Kaffiyas - yet we appease them as we appeased HItler - without learning our lesson. So many in America no longer remembering or even hearing about Nazis in school. Except perhaps when reading about the Aryan Nation racist groups or to use as a derogatory remark about a strong teacher.

Americans have a short attention span, conditioned by 30 - second sound bites, 60 minute TV shows, and 2 hour movies in which everything comes out okay.

The real world is not like that. It is messy, uncertain and sometimes bloody and ugly. Always has been and probably always will be. The bottom line is that we will have to deal with Islamic terrorism until we defeat it, whenever that is.

It will not go away if we ignore it and bring our troops home or appease it or talk to it or try to negotiate with it. Islam is not reacting to us, it is intent on destroying us regardless what we do or say. Even if we capitulate we stand the chance of being lashed, tortured or killed under the Islamic Sharia laws, so peace cannot be found in that either.

If the U.S. can create a reasonably democratic and stable Iraq, then we have an "England" in the Middle East, a platform, from which we can work to help modernize and moderate the Middle East.

Throughout the history of the world is the clash between the forces of relative civility and civilization, and the barbarians clamoring at the gates. The Iraq war is merely another battle in this ancient and never-ending war. And now, for the first time ever, the barbarians are about to get nuclear weapons. Unless somebody prevents them.

We have four options:

1. We can defeat the Jihad now, before it gets nuclear weapons.

2. We can fight the Jihad later, after it gets nuclear weapons (which they already have in Iran and more to come as early as next year, if Iran's progress on nuclear weapons is what Iran claims it is).

3. We can surrender to the Jihad and accept its dominance in the MiddleEast, now, in Europe in the next few years or decades, and ultimately in America.

4. Or, we can stand down now, and pick up the fight later when the Jihad is more widespread and better armed, perhaps after the Jihad has dominated France and Germany and maybe most of the rest of Europe. It will, of course, be more dangerous, more expensive, and much bloodier.

If you oppose this war, I hope you like the idea that your children, or grandchildren, may live in an Islamic America under the Mullahs and the Sharia laws, an America that resembles Iran today - whippings and imprisonment for dress code violations, for even accidentally touching the hand of someone of the opposite sex who is not married to you or a very close relative, for listening to music. Your present DISBELIEF is what is bringing this to reality your children will face!

Parts of Canada have already accepted clerics dispensing Sharia law to Canadian Moselms instead of the judicial system, so this is not as far fetched as you may think. It's here in a still mild form.

The history of the world is the history of civilizational clashes, cultural clashes. All wars are about ideas, ideas about what society and civilization should be like, and the most determined always win. Those who are willing to be the most ruthless always win.

The pacifists always lose, because the anti-pacifists kill them.

Remember, perspective is everything, and America's schools teach too little history for perspective to be clear, especially in the young American mind.

The Cold war lasted from about 1947 at least until the Berlin Wall came down in 1989. Forty-two years. Europe spent the first half of the 19th century fighting Napoleon and from 1870 to 1945 fighting Germany.

World War II began (in practise) in 1928, lasted 17 years, plus a ten year occupation, and the U.S. still has troops in Germany and Japan.

World War II resulted in the death of more than 50 million people, maybe more than 100 million people, depending on which estimates you accept.

The U.S. has taken more than 2,000 KIA in Iraq. The U.S. took more than 4,000 killed in action on the morning of June 6, 1944, the first day of the Normandy Invasion to rid Europe of Nazi imperialism.

In WWII the US averaged 2,000 KIA every week - for four years. To prevent you and your children having to be Nazi fascists and speak German.

Most of the individual battles of WWII lost more Americans than the entire Iraq war has done so far.

But the stakes are at least as high ... A world dominated by representative governments with civil rights, human rights, and personal freedoms ... or a world dominated by a radical Islamic Sunni Wahhabi or Iranian Shiite Hojatieh movement, by the Jihad, under the Mullahs and the Sharia (Islamic law).

It's difficult to understand why the American left does not grasp this instead of simply disliking and mindlessly, thoughlessly opposing war and death even if the survival of a decent world depends on it.

They favor human rights, civil rights, liberty and freedom, but evidently not for Iraqis. "Peace Activists" always seem to demonstrate here inAmerica, where it's safe becasue of the Wars we fought to ensure their freedoms.

Why don't we see Peace Activist demonstrating in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, North Korea, in the places that really need peace activism the most? But where they would be arrested at best and most probably killed without a trial.

The liberal mentality is supposed to favor human rights, civil rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc., but if the Jihad wins, wherever the Jihad wins, it is the end of civil rights, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc.

Americans who oppose the liberation of Iraq are coming down on the side of their own worst enemy.

Please consider passing along copies of this article to students in high school, college and university as it contains information about the American past that is very meaningful today - history about America that very likely is completely unknown by them (and their instructors, too). (And many of those elected or hired into government positions, who come from this same pool of candidates).

By being denied the facts of our history, they are at a decided disadvantage when it comes to reasoningand thinking through the issues of today.

They are prime targets for misinformation campaigns beamed at enlisting them in causes and beliefs that are special interest agenda driven.

Just as were the 65% of Iran's population - now much to their regret - all under the age of 25-years - when Jimmy Carter unleashed disinformation against the late Shah to open the way for him to bring ayatollah Khomeini and the virulent laws that came with him to power in 1979.

Do not let it happen to America. It has already started to happen in Europe and Canada.

Mike from The Middle East Media Research Institute is celebratiing former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami visit to the U.S. the only way MEMRI knows how. So Mike dug up some dirt on Khatami that I'm sure will be shocking to regular Jawa readers.

Remember, this is what passes for reformist and moderate in the Iranian political establishment.
