YOU WILL NOT LIKE LOSING - Are You Supporting Winning?

BILINGUAL ARMENIAN QUESTION click here
Some really good, incisive articles and analyses coming over the next couple of days. Time has not allowed them to already go up.
'You ain't gonna like losing.' Author unknown (Mr./Ms. Anonymous writes so much good stuff) -
President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq .
Bush's mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WW2. It is not.
Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression. The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression, but they still believed fervently in this country. They knew that the people had elected their leaders, so it was the people's duty to back those leaders.
Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together, rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they had voted for them or not or whether the war was going badly or not.
And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as great as it is today.
Often there were more casualties in one day in WW2 than we have had in the entire Iraq war. But that did not matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty.
Americans put aside their differences in WW2 and worked together to win that war.
Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old pitched in.
Small children pulled little wagons around to gather scrap metal for the war effort. Grade school students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to help the effort.
Men who were too old or medically 4F lied about their age or condition trying their best to join the military.
Women doubled their work to keep things going at home. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap, to butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining.
You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling the President.
Interestingly enough in those days there were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and complain to them about our President.
Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the troops' morale. And a bunch even enlisted!
And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the day off with a Pledge of Allegiance, and with prayers for our country and our troops!
Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage.
No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies.
A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being 'tortured' by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or did not have air conditioning.
There were a lot of things different back then.
We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crackheads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets.
No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism.
He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers.
He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve.
It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz.
We did unite for a short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices.
We are in great danger.
The terrorists are fanatic Muslims. They believe that it is okay, even their duty, to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam.
It has been estimated that about one-third or over three hundred million Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorists cause...Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits.
So...we either win it - or lose it - and you ain't gonna like losing.
America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall.

Japanese doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in six weeks."
A German doctor says, "That is nothing. We can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in four weeks."
A British doctor says, "In my country medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have both of them out looking for work in two weeks."
The American doctor, not to be outdone, interjected, "You guys are way behind. We are about to take a woman with no brains, put her in the White House, and then half the country will be out looking for work."

ISLAM'S GLOB AL STATE
One of the most basic causes of this continuous erosion of national power throughout the world is the transformation of minority-dominated enclaves within nation-states into ungovernable areas where state power is either not applied or applied in a haphazard and generally unconstructive manner.
(Alan Note: No! Not the wild lands of Pakistan's Waziristan but parts of Paris, for example. And areas of other European nations, including Scandinavia)
While domestic strife between majority and minority populations has been an enduring feature of democratic and indeed all societies throughout history, the current turbulence constitutes a unique challenge to the nation-state system.
This is because much of the internal strife between minority and majority populations within states today is financed and often directed from outside the country.
Traditionally, minorities used various local means to engage the majority population in a bid to influence the political direction or cultural norms of the nation state.
The classic examples of this traditional minority-majority engagement are the black civil rights movement in the US in the 1960s and the labor movements in the West throughout the 20th century.
By and large, these movements were domestic protests informed by national sensibilities even when they enjoyed the support of foreign governments.
Today while similar movements continue to flourish, they are now being superseded by a new type of minority challenge to national majorities.
This challenge is not primarily the result of domestic injustice but the consequence of foreign agitation. The roots of these minority challenges are found outside the borders of the targeted states. And their goals are not limited to a call for the reform of national institutions and politics.
Rather they set their sights on weakening national institutions and eroding national sovereignty.
MUSLIM MINORITIES throughout the world are being financed and ideologically trained in Saudi and UAE funded mosques and Islamic centers.
These minorities act in strikingly similar manners in the countries where they are situated throughout the world.
On the one hand, their local political leaders demand extraordinary communal rights, rights accorded neither to the national majority nor to other minority populations. On the other hand, Muslim neighborhoods, particularly in Europe, but also in Israel, the Philippines and Australia, are rendered increasingly ungovernable as arms of the state like the police and tax authorities come under attack when they attempt to assert state power in these Muslim communities.
Logic would have it that targeted states would respond to the threat to their authority through a dual strategy.
On the one hand, they would firmly assert their authority by enforcing their laws against both individual lawbreakers and against subversive, foreign financed institutions that incite the overthrow of their governments and their replacement with Islamic governments.
On the other hand, they would seek out and empower local Muslims who accept the authority and legitimacy of their states and their rule of law.
Unfortunately, with the notable exception of the Howard government in Australia, in country after country, governments respond to this challenge by attempting to appease Muslim irredentists and their state sponsors.
The British responded to the July 7, 2005 bombings by giving representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood an official role in crafting and carrying out counter-terror policies.
In 2003, then French president Jacques Chirac sent then interior minister Nicholas Sarkozy to Egypt to seek the permission of Sheikh Mohammed Tantawi of the Islamist al-Azhar mosque for the French parliament's plan to outlaw hijabs in French schools.
In the US, in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, the FBI asked the terror-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations to conduct sensitivity training for FBI agents.
In Holland last year, the Dutch government effectively expelled anti-Islamist politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the interest of currying favor with Holland's restive Muslim minority.
THE FOREIGN policy aspect of the rush to appease is twofold.
First, targeted states refuse to support one another when individual governments attempt to use the tools of law enforcement to handle their domestic jihad threat.
For instance, European states have harshly criticized the US Patriot Act while the US criticized the French decision to prohibit the hijab in public schools.
More acutely, targeted states lead the charge in calling for the establishment of Muslim-only states. Today the US and the EU are leading the charge towards the establishment of a Palestinian state and the creation of an independent state of Kosovo.
In two weeks, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will host the Annapolis conference where together with her European and Arab counterparts, she will exert enormous pressure on the Olmert government to agree to the establishment of a jihadist Palestinian state in Israel's heartland with its capital in Jerusalem and its sovereignty extending over Judaism's most sacred site, the Temple Mount.
The establishment of the sought-for Palestinian state presupposes the ethnic cleansing of at a minimum 80,000 Israelis from their homes and communities simply because they are Jews. Jews of course will be prohibited from living in Palestine.
FOR ITS part, the Palestinian leadership to which Israel will be expected to communicate its acceptance of the establishment of Palestine, is one part criminal, and two parts jihadist.
As Fatah leader and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his colleagues have made clear, while they are willing to accept Israel's concessions, they are not willing to accept Israel. This is why they refuse to acknowledge Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.
A rare consensus exists today in Israel. From the far-left to the far-right, from IDF Military Intelligence to the Mossad, all agree that the Annapolis conference will fail to bring a peace accord.
Since Rice's approach to reaching just such an accord has been to apply unrelenting pressure on Israel, it is fairly clear that she will blame Israel for the conference's preordained failure and cause a further deterioration in US-Israeli relations.
While Israel is supposed to accept a Jew-free Palestine, it goes without saying that its own 20 percent Arab minority will continue to enjoy the full rights of Israeli citizenship.
Yet one of the direct consequences of the establishment of a Jew-free, pro-jihadist State of Palestine will be the further radicalization of Israeli Arabs. They will intensify their current rejection of Israel's national identity.
With Palestinian and outside support, they will intensify their irredentist activities and so exert an even more devastating attack on Israel's sovereignty and right to national self-determination.
SHORTLY AFTER the Annapolis conference fails, and no doubt in a bid to buck up its standing with the Arab world, the US may well stand by its stated intention to recognize the independence of Kosovo.
On December 10, the UN-sponsored troika from the US, Russia and Germany is due to present their report on the ongoing UN-sponsored negotiations between the Kosovo Muslims and the Serbian government regarding the future of the restive province of Serbia.
Since the Kosovo Muslims insist on full sovereignty and Serbia's government refuses to accept Kosovo's independence, those talks are deadlocked. Since Russia refuses to support Kosovo's removal from Serbia, there is no chance that the UN Security Council will pass a resolution calling for Kosovar independence.
The push for Kosovar independence was begun by the Clinton administration. It was the natural consequence of the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999.
Yet the basic assumptions of that bombing campaign have been turned on their head in recent years. In 1999, Serbia was run by a murderous dictator Slobodan Milosovic.
He stood accused of ethnically cleansing Kosovo of its Muslim population which was perceived as innocent. Today, led by Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, Serbia is taking bold steps towards becoming a liberal democracy which abjures ethnic cleansing and political violence.
On the other hand, the Saudi-financed Kosovo Muslims have destroyed more than 150 churches over the past several years, and have terrorized Kosovar Christians and so led to their mass exodus from the province.
As Julia Gorin documented in a recent article in Jewish World Review, Kosovo's connections with Albanian criminal syndicates and global jihadists are legion.
Moreover, Kosovar independence would likely spur irredentist movements among the Muslim minorities in all Balkan states.
In Macedonia for instance, a quarter of the population is Muslim. These irredentist movements in turn would increase Muslim irredentism throughout Europe just as Palestinian statehood will foment an intensification of the Islamization of Israel's Arab minority.
The Kosovo government announced last month that given the diplomatic impasse, it plans to declare its independence next month. Currently, the Bush administration is signaling its willingness to recognize an independent Kosovo even though doing so will threaten US-Russian relations.
In a bid both to prevent the Bush administration from turning on Israel in the aftermath of the failure of the Annapolis conference and to make clear Israel's own rejection of the notion that a 'solution' to the Palestinian conflict with Israel can be imposed by foreign powers, the Olmert government should immediately and loudly restate its opposition to the imposition of Kosovar independence on Serbia.
In the interest of defending the nation-state system, on which American sovereignty and foreign policy is based, the US should reassess the logic of its support for the establishment of Muslim-only states.
It should similarly revisit its refusal to openly support the right of non-Islamic states like Israel, Serbia and even France, to assert their rights to defend their sovereignty, national security and national character from outside-sponsored domestic Islamic subversion.

BREAKING/EXPANDED NEWS -EXPLOSIONS IN IRAN
Sources inside and outside Iran.
A series of explosions rocked the Parchin Military Site (where missiles, including "cruise" type missiles, are manufactured) at Varamin south of Tehran.
The Shahab 3, 4 and more recently Shahab 5 solid fuel missiles at the site are hidden in old salt mines in the mountain face in the area, further excavated and furbished for development and manufacture.
The main purpose of this Ministry of Defense site, established by the late Shah's father - Reza Shah Kabir - in the early 1900's and taken over by the IRGC, had been and has been to manufacture ammunition, chemical explosives and more recently short range rocket missiles.
The exacavated salt mines for longer range missile technology have been expanded by the Mullah regime.
More than likely, the explosives, IED's, rockets and similar items of Iranian manufacture showing up in Iraq and Afghanistan were largely produced at Parchin.
The explosion will certainly put a dent in the Islamic Regime's capability to continue providing these in the same quantities as before and speculation has either Coalition Special Forces doing what they do best and/or MEK (Mojaheddin-e Khalgh) involvement. The latter in an effort to be removed from the USA Terrorist Organization list.
The reported "slowdown" within Iraq of the arrival of Islamic Iran's weapons may indicate that available supplies had dwindled inside Iran and the IRGC/Ghods Brigade leadership had just manufactured a new supply - which went up in several big booms.
As a result, about 100 "military" personnel ( IRGC - Islamic Revolutionary Guards paramilitary) of the site were injured.
The explosions reportedly started when a missile, which was being moved, exploded and set off chain reactions in various external sections of the Site. Not in the mountain tunnels.
When shrapnel of the explosion hit other sections, more than half a dozen other warehouses located in the vicinity of each other were engulfed in flames and their contents also detonated. The final area of the explosion reportedly had a radius of one kilometer.
The fire, which began at 3:00 a.m. and was put out many hours later, was so extensive that fire fighters from seven fire stations rushed to the scene.
While the names of the 100 or so injured and killed were not released, reports say four of the injured were:
Mostafa Nourizadeh,
Alireza Verdi-lou,
Nasser Rezai, and
Morteza Motahari.
The Mullah regime has so far succeeded in preventing the news of the incident leaking and claims that it was a "normal" fire.
A memorandum to its staff and other relevant organs, inisted that since the area is of a military nature, no information should leak. Or else!
The regime closed off Khavaran Road in that locality, established a crisis headquarters to deal with the situation and evacuated two nearby population centers of Do Hezar Vahedi (two thousand units) and Ghaen.
Parchin, located some 40 kilometers south of Tehran, is a sprawling 60 square kilometer site.
Defense related centers and industries located in Parchin belong to the Ministry of Defense (The Defense Industries Organization, Iran's Aerospace Industries Organization, and Institution for Research and Training of the Defense Industries.) The huge site is organized into 11 different projects for production of various weapons and munitions.
Projects 4 and 11 are devoted to production of cruise type missiles; projects 1, 2 and 8 are devoted to chemical weapons production.
In addition to cruise missiles, other types of missiles, including Oghab (Eagle), Nazeat missiles, air to air missiles and solid fuel for missiles are manufactured in Parchin's missile complex.
Parts of the Parchin site are devoted to conducting research on uranium enrichment using laser technology.
Unless you support the Mullah regime in Iran, poke a finger into the regime's eye and propagate the news they so desperately want to hide.

UNBELIEVABLE !
A 19-year-old female victim of gang rape who initially was ordered to undergo 90 lashes for 'being in the car of an unrelated male at the time of the rape,' has been sentenced to 200 lashes and six months in jail for telling her story to the news media.
The new verdict was handed down by Saudi Arabia's Higher Judicial Council following a retrial, the Arab News reported.
The court last year sentenced the six heavily-armed men who carried out the attack against the Shiite woman to between one and five years for committing the crime.
But the judges had decided to punish the woman further for 'her attempt to aggravate and influence the judiciary through the media,' a court source told the Arab News.
The new verdict issued on Wednesday also toughened the sentences against the six men to between two and nine years in prison.
Saudi Arabia enforces a strict Islamic doctrine that forbids unrelated men and women from associating with each other, bans women from driving and forces them to cover head-to-toe in public.
The case has angered members of Saudi Arabia's Shiite community. The convicted men are Sunni Muslims, the dominant community in the oil-rich Gulf state.

CHINESE SUB INCIDENT
Our ASW (anti-submarine warfare) capabilities have in fact been diminished (retiring the Spruance class ASW DDGS and the S-3 Viking ASW aircraft) when we should have kept those assets.
However, with the helos (helicopters) off the Burkes (DDGs), the Ticos (CGs), and off the carriers itself, and with one or two ADCAP LA Class SSNs with every carrier group, we are still the best in the world at ASW.
Sources tell me that this Song PLAN sub was tagged and forced to surface before it was a serious threat...but the ChiComms and our complicit press are making the most out of the story.
No doubt that the PLAN is building up and planning to confront us and that we must be vigilant, on our guard, and continue our own advance and building...but this story is not the tragedy that it is being made out to be.
The Burke class, particularly the Flight IIA vessels are filling in for the Spruances.
There is no replacement for the S-3 Viking.
Contacts did not tell me what was used to get the ChiComm sub to surface, but my guess is that there was some active sonar pinging that let them know we knew exactly where they were for starters.
BIN LADEN PROVIDES TRACKABLE HABITS?
Three similar groups of some 20 people each with an occasional cross move by a smaller party from one to another can be monitored by satellite and with a little patience provide a target. Or three targets.
All the members of these groups are Al Qaeda and thus enemy targets in their own right.
No?
So why is Bin Laden alive? Instead of 'predatored'? With turmoil in Pakistan, a Waziristan event has 'deniabiity'.
Afghanistan: Bin Laden hiding in border mountains, claims ex-Taliban militant
Swat Valley, 15 Nov. (AKI) - Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was hiding in the remote mountains on the Afghani-Pakistani border and moving constantly to avoid detection by intelligence agencies, according to a Taliban sympathiser.
Ahmad Farooq, a Pakistani Pashtun has told the Italian daily, Corriere della Sera, that bin Laden had been moving from village to village in the area from Chitral to the “corridor of Waqan”, the mountainous Hindu Kush region of Pakistan bordering Tajikstan and China.
It is a rare account of bin Laden’s life since he masterminded the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. But it is impossible to verify the accuracy of the account.
Farooq told the Italian daily’s magazine, that bin Laden was surrounded by about 20 armed men and he moved whenever he felt particularly threatened.
“There are always 20 armed men with him, free from satellite telephones so that they did not risk detection by the Americans,” he told the newspaper.
“Not far from him there are two other similar groups that move in parallel. Osama passes from one to the other often many times in a week. No-one knows which group he is with at any time.”
Farooq said bin Laden had also managed to hide in the Pakistan-China border area of Karakorum, an uninhabited remote area, because it is guarded by Chinese troops.
“He lives like a monk,” Farooq said. “His health is not good. He is 50 years old. But he looks much older. He relies continutally on medicine for his weak kidneys and has a breathing apparatus.
“He almost died a few years ago from bronchitis that developed into pneumonia.”
Farooq conducted the interview in Imam Dheray, in the Swat Valley where there has been widespread bloody conflict between the Pakistani security forces and the fugitive rebel leader and radical cleric, Mullah Fazlullah, and his supporters in recent weeks.
Farooq said he decided to speak to the newspaper since he felt indebted to Italian members of the Red Cross who had come to the aid of him and other members of the Taliban when thousands were killed and injured in the US offensive in Afghanistan in 2001.
He said Fazlullah had been with them and had commanded 11,000 Pakistani volunteers in the fighting.
Farooq gave many details about where bin Laden had been since September 11 2001 - hiding in the Afghan province of Khost until it became too dangerous for him.
Then, he said, the al-Qaeda leader moved to the Chitral region, in northern Pakistan.
“I saw him for the last time on 17 September 2003 not far from Dir, my village, “ he said. “His caravan was moving slowly. They told me he was not well. They didn’t seem worried about being detected by the Americans.
“Instead, they were looking for medicines and a warm place for the night. In that area winter arrives early. With the first snow fall the passes are closed at more than 4,000 metres and you have to wait for spring.
“I think they only went to China in summer, when the paths are clear.”
A senior official from NATO’s security services told the Italian daily’s magazine such an account of bin Laden’s activities was “quite possible”.
He said “We believe he remained in the mountains in the zones of Chitral and Swat. The detail about China was however new.”

SCHMOOZING WITH TERRORISTS by Aaron Klein
Bars and clubs closed down?
Church bells banned?
That's just a taste of what Americans have to look forward to if terrorists ever took over the U.S. and imposed Islamic law, according to a new book.
In one chapter of the recently released "Schmoozing with Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land, Jihadists Reveal their Global Plans To a Jew!"
Author and WND Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein petitioned Mideast terror leaders to describe day-to-day life in the U.S. if al-Qaida won the war on terror.
"Once Islam dominates, anyone living inside the Islamic state must abide by our rules. There is no choice. You will abide or face the punishment," said Muhammad Abdel-El, the spokesman and a senior leader of the Popular Resistance Committees terror organization.
Sheik Abu Saqer, a prominent Gaza-based preacher, a founder of the Sword of Islam terror group and a subscriber to the ideology of al-Qaida, explained if Islam controls the U.S., all American women, whether Muslim or not, must cover their hair.
"This is the demand of our religion. Being and walking naked doesn't mean that you are enjoying more freedom; it means that you are going against Allah's laws and you are serving the enemies of Islam who want to empty our Islamic society from its values. Uncovered heads is a form of nudity.
"Yasser Hamad, a cleric and a Hamas leader in the northern West Bank, explained in "Schmoozing" Islamic law enforcers would at first try to persuade American woman to cover their heads, but eventually females would be forced. Those women who refuse may be stoned.
Asked by Klein whether stoning was too harsh a punishment, Hamad replied:
"If you don't respect the local law in America, if you don't pay taxes, if you drive on a red light, aren't there sanctions used against you by your government? Of course there are and it's okay with you. Why is there a problem when it comes to the Islamic state that wants to impose its rules?"
(Alan Note: not paying Taxes or going through a red light as mentioned above does NOT rise in civilized societies to the level of STONING, WHIPPING, CUTTING OFF LIMBS, SEVERING THE GENITALS, CUTTING OUT THE TONGUE and similar barbarous penalties Islam imposes for SOCIAL misbehavior like stealing, adultery, prostitution, nor DEATH for apostasy or changing your religion! What crappy logic!)
Hamad and other terror leaders stated all Jews and Christians living in the U.S. once Islam takes over would need to pay the jizya a special protection tax and other special taxes for non-Muslims, including one for the right to cultivate land. Non-Muslims cannot own land themselves.
(Alan: pay these taxes or else what? DIE of course!)
Saqer said no new synagogues or churches can be built in the Islamic state.
Existing houses of worship may remain, but services cannot be conducted loudly or in any public fashion.
(Alan: yes, sure we believe that, when the Bible is banned in many Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia and in non-Islamic China!)
The ringing of church bells or blowing of the ceremonial Jewish shofar would be forbidden, the terror leaders said.
Asked about crime and punishment, Hamad explained, "For every sin and crime there is a sanction:"
"Prostitution: one hundred whippings; if the prostitute was married, he or she will be stoned until death; for a thief, his hand will be cut.
But before enjoying the primitive nature of Islam and before you express how much you are shocked by our rules, I must say that these are not immediate sanctions, but they are used only if the person was warned."
Hamad explained prostitution doesn't mean selling sex; he said the Islamic definition applies the term to all extramarital sexual relations.
But he boasted Islam's allowing men to marry many women was a perfect remedy for prostitution.
(Specially the hypocritical temporary 'sigheh' mariage which can be contracted for as little as ten minutes or an hour).
"In order to prevent prostitution and before reaching the sanctions of stoning or whipping, we will marry all our unmarried young.
(Alan: This partly originates the fervor with which Moslem parents want to marry off their daughters as early as possible).
By the way, Islam allows the man to marry four women, so if he or she keeps practicing sex outside marriage and prostitution, in this case the sanctions mentioned in Quran will be used."
(Alan: "sanctions" that reflect the worst PRIMITIVE fanaticism that existed ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED YEARS ago and have no relationship to reality - specially modern, more civilized reality).
The terror leaders all said alcohol would be banned and American movies and television would be shut down.
"American culture is very cheap and very corrupting.
Your American culture is based on capitalism, on democracy, sex, and other principles that go against the nature of human beings as Allah created.
(Alan: since you must obey ONLY Allah, no other country, government or the free opinion under democracy can be tolerated under Islam).
We will fight all that this culture represents and promotes," said sheik Saleh Faraj, one of the main leaders of the Islamic Liberation Party in the West Bank.
What about freedom of the press in the American Islamic state? The terrorists said once Islam rules us, American media outlets that don't conform to disseminating Islamic messages will be closed. They said the NY Times, CNN, the Washington Post would all be banned. (First sensible idea).
"The media will be closed not because there will be no freedom but because what is the logic of allowing the activity of media that can endanger the political and social stability of our state?" said Nasser Abu Aziz, no. 2 of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group in the northern West Bank.
The terrorists took particular offense at the FOX News Channel, which some called a "network of evil."
Abu Abdullah said, "The evil FOX encourages a lack of respect to Islam and resistance movements and will cause moral confusion and negative political influence."
There is a possibility American music may be altogether banned if Islam takes over.
Saqer explained in "Schmoozing," some Islamic experts and sages, including those of the school of Egyptian scholar Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, allow music; while others, like those belonging to the Islamic Salafite school, forbid music.
Asked about American pop music icons, multiple terror leaders had never heard of many top singers but Klein said they were all familiar with Madonna and Britney Spears.
"Unfortunately, I heard the names of Madonna and Spears on [Arab] television when parents complain that their children neglect their studies and their values because they are influenced by your cheap American music that you call culture," said Saqer.
Hamas's Abu Abdullah said, "At the beginning, we will try to convince Madonna and Britney Spears to follow Allah's way. But I honestly don't think they will follow.
If they persist with their whoring music, we will prevent them by force. I don't think that I can be in the same place with these singers. They might (?) be killed if they do not respect our laws."
The Committee's Abdel-El, whose group previously bombed Americans, said, "Their music video clips will be forbidden and these whores Madonna and Spears will be thrown in jail until they admit they made sins and return to the moral way. If they don't, they will be stoned to death or eighty times hit with a belt."
Abdel-El said even before Islam takes over America, he would personally kill Madonna and Spears if he ran into them.
"If I meet these whores I will have the honor - I repeat, I will have the honor - to be the first one to cut the heads of Madonna and Britney Spears."
In "Schmoozing," the terrorists stress repeatedly their goal is a worldwide Islamic caliphate.
"We see already in America a nucleus of Islam, a base for Islam. This will become bigger, stronger, more important, until Islam will take control and will seize the power in America and the world," said Faraj.
Abdel-El affirmed, "America will be overthrown. We are seeing more and more signs that prove that the process had already started."
Among the highlights of "Schmoozing with Terrorists":
Terror leaders dish on loudmouth, anti-war celebrities such as Rosie O'Donnell, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Jane Fonda and Richard Gere and even sound off about American talk radio hosts such as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Jihadists list their U.S. election favorites, mouth off about politicians and even threaten to kill one 2008 presidential candidate.
Klein and friends confront well-armed senior terrorists about whether suicide bombers really get 72 virgins after their deadly operation.
Terror groups funded, trained and armed by the U.S.? American tax dollars donated to schools that double as terror training zones and jihadist recruitment grounds? A shocking expose on how your tax dollars fund terrorism!

The three-day political soap opera was totally unexpected. While Ozawa for now has made his position clear by announcing his resolve to build the party and lead it to success at the next general election, he has also already done huge damage to the party and has betrayed supporter's expectations of the DPJ as a viable alternative to replace the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).Full Story

Despite maneuvers, analysts rule out imminent war between Hizbullah, Israel
Posted on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 2:59pm
War will not erupt any time soon between Hizbullah and Israel, despite large-scale military maneuvers staged recently by each side, a number of security and political analysts told The Daily Star Wednesday. "I don't think Hizbullah is in any way preparing for such an eventuality," said Timur Goksel, former senior adviser to the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
"They are in a defensive mode in the present." Last weekend Hizbullah organized military exercises, which were reportedly the largest in its history, only days after Israeli troops performed maneuvers in Al-Jaleel in northern Israel from October 28-31. Hizbullah's show of strength should be read as a response to Israel's exercises and not as saber-rattling presaging an imminent conflict, Goksel said. Full Story

As the United States has intensified pressure on the Pakistani president, General Pervez Musharraf, to call off the state of emergency there, India has maintained a studiously low-key response to the unfurling crisis in its neighbor and nuclear rival.
The Ministry of External Affairs issued its only formal statement shortly after emergency rule was declared Saturday, and kept it succinct, limiting it to just two sentences. Indian analysts said the muted response reflected a desire not to sour newly improved relations between the two countries by taking a overly critical stand at this juncture.Full Story

به دختران و ملت ايران تجاوزمیشود THEY RAPE US
Rape is a part of daily life in Iran. Specially to enforce obedience, frighten their menfolk into submission and to punish the women for whatever the rapists consider to have been insubordination.
This is the society the Mullahs have created in Iran and encourage with their religious Sharia laws where women have no status in society - by official Mullocratic decree.
COMING SOON TO THIS SITE -Translations of religious Islamic tenets - some are so WEIRD as to be mind boggling, yet they are the template for "correct living" in Islam.
And exactly the tenets the Jihadists are trying to impose on all of us - dragging us back by force and threat from our modern times to the way backward fanatics lived some 1,400 years.
The video below of "life" in Iran - and many Islamic countries today - and the Islamic tenets as they post should indicate why the AntiMullah site exists and is so fervent. Not only politically but socially.

LET'S NOT REPEAT OUR IRAN MISTAKES WITH PAKISTAN
This money would pass through Iranian banks, like Bank Melli, that have been blacklisted and should not be used to channel the funds. This roadblock seems to have given pause but not stopped the cash flow. In fact Iran appears to have already received some $50 million during the summer months.
The situation in Pakistan resembles what faced the late Shah of Iran when the Soviets inflamed an uneducated and politically ignorant VERY young populace to rise up and bring in a new religious “hero” Khomeini.
Some 50% of the Pakistani population polled stated they wanted Osama bin Laden as their leader. They already have their Khomeini in place.
Some four of the geographical divisions of Pakistan are Taleban controlled and oriented to sharia law and strict Islamic behavior and mind sets.
A very high percentage of the total population of the country leans toward sharia religious law and strict Islamic customs. Dry tinder for inflaming similar to Iran in the old days.
A religious take-over of Pakistan, like Khomeini in Iran will certainly lead to a huge blow to Western interests.
The question remains whether the Bush Administration/USA will follow Jimmy Carter’s inept and idiotic handling of the revolution against the Shah and put “idealistic democracy” over allowing Pakistan’s secular leader to block a terrorist take over. And maintain a pro-West status within Pakistan.
Already the State Department and President Bush are making noises about “democracy” and “elections” similar to those uttered by Carter back in 1978.
Meanwhile Musharaf has to face fanatical, suicidal, Islamic terrorist actions that neither follow democratic norms nor would allow a spark of democracy to survive in Pakistan after they take over. So let’s not help them by weakening Musharaf.
Again we are demanding political suicide for Pakistan in the name of an ephemeral democracy that exists in name only anywhere else in the world except the USA - even in much of Europe.
With Osama bin Laden in Pakistan’s Waziristan, it is a short step to much of Pakistan pledging allegiance to him and allowing him free movement in the four already “Taleban” regions.
And the official power to order sharia law and anti-Western activity inside and outside the country. The Islamic Jihadists will not follow Benazir Bhutto so she is not an alternative option. Nor powerful enough to fight against them.
And!
Pakistan’s nuclear capability falling into terrorist and Al Qaeda hands, even if only some dirty bomb useful, radioactive material and not the bombs Pakistan possesses - must weigh heavily in favor of supporting the only thing standing in the way of this horrifying event - Pervez Musharaf!
Let’s not cut our own throats by following in Carter’s footsteps which, some 30-years later, are the root of all our terrorist troubles today.
SAUDI SHARIA INDOCTRINATION CONTINUES
Author: Adrian MorganSource: The Family Security Foundation, Inc.Date: November 2, 2007
The Saudi government uses its great wealth and influence to fund Muslim schools and mosques throughout the world. FSM Contributing Editor Adrian Morgan gives a shocking account of how widely materials intended to indoctrinate the recipients to radical Islam are disseminated.
Saudi Methods of Indoctrination
By Adrian Morgan
On Monday October 29, 2007, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia arrived in Britain for the beginning of a state visit. His retinue followed in five separate planes. As soon as the monarch arrived, he created controversy by claiming that Britain had ignored intelligence warnings given by Saudi Arabia before the suicide bomb attacks of 7/7 (July 7, 2005) in which 52 people were killed. Abdullah intimated that if Britain's intelligence services had taken note of the warnings, the events of 7/7 would not have taken place.
U.K. government officials issued denials. Information presented on the website of MI5 on April 30th this year stated: "The Saudis provided information about possible planning for an attack in the U.K. which was materially different from the attacks that took place in London on 7 July."
Apart from this controversy, and the inevitable protests about abuses of human rights in Abdullah's feudal kingdom, a report was published on the day of his arrival which has attracted widespread media attention. The center-right think tank called the Policy Exchange issued the results of an investigation into extremist material, much of it provided by Saudi agencies, appearing in British mosques. The 202-page report is entitled "The Hijacking of British Islam: How extremist literature is subverting mosques in the U.K."
Four groups of moderate Muslims had been sent to almost 100 mosques and Islamic establishments in various British regions between 2006 and 2007. In a quarter of these establishments, extremist literature was found. Eighty books and pamphlets were collected, and of these 38 were in English, 36 in Arabic and 6 were in Urdu.
Schools and Charities
The report noted that extremist literature was found in the King Fahd Academy on Bromyard Avenue, Acton, West London. This is directly funded by Saudi Arabia's monarchical regime. This establishment educates children aged from 5 to 16, and has already been exposed several times in the U.K. media for having extremist texts. The Policy Exchange researchers found that the 19th century anti-Semitic forgery known as the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” was being described as authentic in one of the school's textbooks. The textbook claims that the tenets of the Protocols – such as using gold and pornography to subvert the masses – have already been implemented by Jews.
As documented in the report (pp 51-58), textbooks produced under the aegis of the Saudi government encourage contempt for non-Muslims. One such text, called "Al-Tawhid" (monotheism) was produced in 2004 by the Saudi Ministry of Education, Learning and Educational Advancement. It states: "One of the great requirements for hating the unbelievers and showing enmity towards them is to stay away from their ceremonies and celebrations." The book advises against "using the solar calendar, because it establishes their Christmas holiday."
A book by the same Saudi ministry, produced in 2006-7, is entitled "Sharh Kitab al-Tawhid" (Commentary on the Book of Monotheism). The Kitab al-Tawhid is the only surviving book written by the founder of Saudi Wahhabism, Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab (1703-1792). The "Commentary" teaches students at King Fahd Academy that if non-Muslims do not convert to Islam, then they must be fought:
"The basis of Islam is the divine unity. This requires bearing witness that 'There is no god but God'; it therefore is incumbent on the people of Islam that their aim in jihad is to guide mankind to Islam, and to enter into it. It is, therefore, preferable to call them to Islam before fighting them, even if the summons had already reached them before that. But if it had not already reached them, it is necessary to summon them before fighting them."
Another book at the King Fahd Academy, aimed at 12-year-olds and produced by the same Saudi education ministry in 2005-6, is called “Al-Hadith wa'l-thaqafa al-Islamiyya” (Prophetic tradition and Islamic culture). This book tells children that women complain too much, are never satisfied by their husbands' "favors," and are weak. It advises against mixing of the sexes socially (khalwat, which is punished in Saudi Arabia by lashes). A book on the Hadith produced by the Saudi education ministry in 2005-6 and aimed at 13-year-olds states: "The Jews and Christians are the enemies of the Muslim, and they will never be pleased with the Muslims."
The Al-Muntada Al-Islami Trust is a registered charity (No: 293355) based in Parsons Green, West London. It was founded in 1986 and though it gains tax-emption from the British government, its area of benefit is "not defined" in its official records. It has branches in 20 African and Asian countries and promotes fundamentalist Islam.
Various books were found at this charity headquarters. One book called "Loyalty and Enmity" (published by Al Firdous Publications in 1993) cites scholars such as Ibn Taymiyyah and Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al ash-Shaykh to advise that rulers who do not follow Islamic principles should not be followed. Another publication found at the charity advises: "A true believer loves the believers and takes them for friends, and shows hate towards the disbelievers and does not take them for friends." Yet another book tells readers: "Jihad is considered as the peak of Islam, and of the best acts or worship. Some scholars went as far as considering it as the sixth pillar of Islam."
A book on fatwas, produced by The Permanent Council for Knowledge and Edict Research in Saudi Arabia, was found at the charity. This book advises Muslims not to vote for non-Muslims and states "It is impermissable for a Muslim to seek judgment from a non-Muslim government." The second volume of this publication tells Muslims that they should not take holidays in non-Muslim countries, or to take citizenship in a country such as America, governed by non-believers.
The report notes that the King Fahd Academy has been visited by Prince Charles, and has previously claimed that it has removed books that refer to Christians as "swine" and to Jews as "apes and pigs.". The school caters to 1,000 pupils, and has been in existence since 1978. When Colin Cook, a teacher who had been at the academy for 18 years, filed a complaint for unfair dismissal, some unsavory allegations were made at his tribunal.
Mr. Cook was sacked in December 2006. He claimed that Saudi textbooks described Jews as "repugnant" and Christians as "pigs". He said that he had heard pupils saying they wished to "kill Americans" and also idolizing Osama bin Laden. In January 2007, the female principal of the academy, Dr. Sumaya Alyusuf, claimed that the Saudi curriculum had been dropped. The Policy Exchange report indicates that this has not happened.
In May 2006 U.S. research group Freedom House's Center for Religious Freedom published a 39-page report entitled Saudi Arabia's Curriculum of Intolerance. This examined textbooks created by the Saudi Ministry of Education, and found that these propounded "a belief that Christians and Jews and other unbelievers have united in a war against Islam that will ultimately end in the complete destruction of such infidels." Specific excerpts of passages from the books can be found here.
Following the 2006 publication of the Freedom House report, the Saudi education minister, Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Obeid, held a press conference with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, in which he claimed that Saudi education was being subjected to root and branch reform. The recent Policy Exchange report indicates that such reforms have not included the Saudi books provided to children at the King Fahd Academy.
It should also be noted that the problem may be happening in at least one Saudi-funded school in the United States. On October 17th of this year, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom published a report. This highlighted concerns about the Islamic Saudi Academy with campuses in Fairfax and Alexandria in Northern Virginia. The report's authors recommended that if the Saudi-funded school did not hand over copies of its textbooks for examination, it should be closed down. The report stated: "Significant concerns remain about whether what is being taught at the (school) promotes religious intolerance and may adversely affect the interests of the United States."
On Monday this week, it was announced that officials from Fairfax County were examining copies of the textbooks at the academy, which educates 1,000 students. The review of the books was requested by County Supervisor Gerald Hyland.
Mosques
The British Policy Exchange report highlights extremist literature, much of it Saudi in origin, which has been found at two British mosques which have prestigious reputations and were built with Saudi funding. These are the Regents Park Mosque (pictured) and the East London Mosque. The Regents Park Mosque (called the Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center) was built at a cost of $13 million, with funds including a donation of $3.95 million from the Saudi monarchy. It was built on land donated by King George VI in 1944. Construction began in 1969 and the mosque opened officially in 1977. It has been a registered U.K. charity (No: 231920) since 1965.
One of the books found at the Regents Park Mosque was entitled “Four Essays on The Obligation of Veiling.” This states that women "are obligated to stay in their homes and are forbidden to come out from them." It advised: "It is not permissible for a woman to ride in her car alone with a driver that is not a mahram (relative, spouse) to her because this is from the prohibited forms of privacy." The book stated that women should never go out with perfume, nor uncovered. It avowed that Muslim men had the power to force women to wear the veil. Additionally, a woman must cover her feet and even her fingernails when outside the home.
Another book from the mosque is “Fatawa Islamiyah – Islamic Verdicts, volume 1” co-authored by the Saudi Permanent Council. This book reviles Freemasons for their links to Jews, and criticized Sufi Muslims and members of the peaceful Ahmadiyyah sect (who are barred from doing pilgrimage to Mecca). Volume 5 of this book series advocates polygamy, states that a boy as young as 10 can marry, and forbids Muslim woman from marrying a Christian or "other disbeliever." Such a marriage is to be annulled, until the husband proves he has converted to Islam. However, "if he apostasizes after that, his head should be chopped off according to the Hadith: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him'."
The same book recommends that a Muslim employer who has a Muslim worker who does not pray should first urge the employee to pray. When that fails, the employee should be fired. Volume 8 of the same book's series states: "There are different kinds of Jihad – with one's self, wealth, supplication, teaching, giving guidance, or helping others in good in any form. The highest form of Jihad, however, is with one's life...Jihad with one's life is the highest form."
Volumes 1, 5 and 8 of “Fatawa Islamiyah – Islamic Verdicts” were also found at the East London Mosque on Whitechapel Road. Another text was found at this mosque, with the intriguing title "Women Who Deserve To Go To Hell."
The East London Mosque was completed in 1985. Adjoining this mosque is now a six story community center, which was officially opened in June, 2004. The community center cost $20 million to construct. At least $2 million was donated by Saudi Arabia. When it was opened, the star speaker was a Saudi. Sheikh Abdur-Rahman al-Sudays (Sudeis) is the senior imam at the grand mosque at Mecca.
Sudeis is a hate-spewing anti-Semite. He has called Jews "the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the violators of pacts and agreements, the murderers of the prophets, and the offspring of apes and pigs" and also "infidels, distorters of [others'] words, calf-worshippers, prophet-murderers, prophecy-deniers...the scum of the human race 'whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs…' These are the Jews, an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil, and corruption..."
The chairman of the East London Mosque is Bangladesh-born Dr. Muhammad Abdul Bari. In 2005, Bari was confronted by BBC journalist John Ware about his invitation of Sudeis to the opening of the mosque's community center. Bari's response to charges that Sudeis condemned followers of other faiths was evasive to the point of dishonesty. Ware asked: "Do I take it that if you were satisfied he had said such things you would not have invited him over?" Bari replied: "Well of course if it was proved that he exactly said this thing that you mentioned then why do you invited people who would be saying like this?" Video of Ware's conversation with the evasive Dr. Bari can be found here.
Dr. Muhammad Bari has, since June 4, 2006, been the head of the Muslim Council of Britain. As I wrote earlier on FSM, the MCB's leadership has acted in an advisory capacity for the Labour government, even though its luminaries have Islamist tendencies. The MCB was co-founded in 1996 by Kamal Helbawy, a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood, shortly before the Labour Party was elected in May 1997.
There are 400 mosques and Islamic Institutions which claim to be represented by the Muslim Council of Britain. These include mosques and institutions listed in the Policy Exchange report, such as the Muslim Cultural Heritage Center (Al-Manaar) in West London. Here, a book by the Saudi Office for Da'wah in the UK, called "Loyalty and enmity concerning relations between Muslims and non-Muslims" was found. This book states: "it is mandatory to hate and dislike the unbelievers and polytheists, to never ask them for support against the Muslims, to never follow their example in any thing, to never obey them in matters of religion, to never imitate them. Actually it is mandatory to stay far away from them and to separate from them, and to do what is necessary in terms of jihad and its like against their fighters."
Another Saudi book, which claims to be a "gift" from the Saudi King Fahd, was found at the Al-Manaar center. This volume, entitled "Correct beliefs, their opposite, along with the treatise of the Divine presence" argues that it is permissible to kill apostates. Another book at the center, published by the Saudi Ministry of Affairs-funded Office of Da’wah in Britain, is called "Women and their scheming enemies." This argues that among the worst enemies of women are the Jews who "are of all people the keenest on corrupting humanity, and on destroying their beliefs and values. The reason why they work so hard to corrupt humanity is that they cannot see an existence for themselves except through the destruction of others, or corrupting them." The Muslim Council of Britain is affiliated with other mosques listed in the report.
When John Ware compiled his 2005 BBC documentary, he mentioned that the MCB supports a group called the Markaz Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, which has 41 mosques and faith schools under its influence. In 2005 its website claimed that Muslims should "be different from Jews and Christians" whose "ways are based on sick or deviant views." In January this year, a documentary on Britain's Channel 4 showed that at the Ahl-e-Hadith headquarters, the Green Lane Mosque in Birmingham, Saudi-trained preachers incited hatred of homosexuals, contempt for non-Muslims and argued for separation from non-Muslims. The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia frequently had video-link appearances at this mosque. Bizarrely, West Midlands Police turned their attentions from the Saudi-trained hate preachers featured in the documentary to consider prosecuting the documentary makers.
The Markaz Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith featured in the Policy Exchange report for having extremist literature on its premises. The book "Correct beliefs, their opposite, along with the treatise of the Divine presence" was found at the Green Lanes Mosque, as well as at the Islamic Center of Edinburgh, Scotland, and at Birmingham's Central Mosque.
The author of the Policy Exchange report, Denis MacEoin, is critical of the Muslim Council of Britain and other similar "representative" bodies for allowing texts of hate to be in the mosques with which they are affiliated. He states on page 7:
"The Government and other authorities should reassess whether it is right to place even a measure of responsibility for the future direction of policy towards Britain's Muslim communities in the hands of groups such as the MCB [Muslim Council of Britain] and the Islamic Foundation in Markfield, which are implicated in this report."
The Islamic Foundation in Markfield, near Leicester, was noted for promoting material by Syed Abul Ala Maududi (1903-1979), the Indian-born founder of the Jamaat-e-Islami Party, an extreme Islamist group with branches in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Maududi's ideas are said to have influenced Sayyid Qutb, ideologue of the Muslim Brotherhood. The foundation in Markfield was founded by Khurshid Ahmad, a senior figure in Jamaat-e-Islami.
In July 2006, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Bari welcomed Bangladeshi Jamaat-e-Islami lawmaker Delwar Hossein Sayeedi to the East London Mosque. Sayeedi is a fanatic who has said that American soldiers should become Muslims or die. He supports the persecution of Ahmadiyyahs in his country and has called Hindus "excrement." Bari never explained why he welcomed Sayeedi to his mosque community center, nor has the British government explained why Sayeedi was given a visa. In 2000, Sayeedi's supporters beat up five Bangladeshi elders in Britain.
As was expected, senior members of the Muslim Council of Britain condemned the Policy Exchange report before they had time to read all of its 202 pages. Inayat Bunglawala of the MCB said: "Bookshops sell a variety of publications and we live in an open, democratic society where it is not illegal to sell books which contain anti-Western views." Bunglawala in 1993 described terrorist Omar Abdel-Rahman as "courageous," a month before Rahman organized the first attack on the World Trade Center. When Rahman was arrested, Bunglawala said Rahman had only been apprehended because the blind Sheikh had called "on Muslims to fulfil their duty to Allah and to fight against oppression and oppressors everywhere."
Bunglawala has also said that the BBC is "Zionist-controlled". Shortly before 9/11, Bunglawala called Osama bin Laden a "freedom fighter". In August 2005 Bunglawala defended his comment, saying "At the time he was." Bunglawala has also said: "Maududi is a very important Muslim thinker."
It is strange that the MCB has had such a close relationship with the Labour government, considering the nature of its leadership. In August 2006 this group was one of many that signed an open letter blaming the British government's foreign policy for encouraging terrorism and extremism. In June 2006 the MCB had pressured the government to abandon its plans to outlaw forced marriage, even though at least 200 British Muslim girls annually undergo this abuse of their rights.
Dr. Bari's predecessor as head of the MCB was Iqbal Sacranie, who was knighted by Tony Blair in June 2005. Sacranie had said after Salman Rushdie's death fatwa that, "Death, perhaps, is a bit too easy for him...his mind must be tormented for the rest of his life unless he asks for forgiveness to Almighty Allah...” Malawi-born Sacranie argued in 1996 that Osama bin Laden should be allowed to visit London to preach. At the time, Sacranie called bin Laden an "Islamic scholar." He has called Sheikh Yassin, founder of terror group Hamas, a "renowned Islamic scholar". Sacranie attended a memorial service for Sheikh Yassin, which was held in Regents Park Mosque.
Sacranie condemned the Policy Exchange report, saying: "The majority of Muslims will totally dismiss this because it is written by the Policy Exchange, who have an agenda to denigrate the mainstream of Islam in this country. If there is any material which falls foul of the law, then the law should take its course. We cannot accept messages of hate – there is zero tolerance on that. But it is irresponsible to target religious texts and take them out of context. These texts can be found not just in mosques but in ordinary bookshops – the report overlooks that."
Younes Teniaz of the trust that runs the Regents Park Mosque argued that the bookshop on its premises was run independently. He said: "The bookshop is franchised to a separate organization. These books express their authors’ opinions and not those of the London Central Mosque Trust." The same argument was used when Channel 4 revealed in January that the same bookshop had on sale DVDs which supported armed Jihad and expressed hostility for Christians and non-Muslims.
Birmingham Central Mosque was mentioned in the report. The chairman of this mosque, Dr. Muhammad Naseem, has also condemned the report, even though he allowed extremist preacher Riyadh Ul Haq to be the senior mam at this mosque for years. Ul Haq's sermons argue that Muslims should be separate from non-Muslims. Dr Naseem himself is an extremist. He has argued that homosexuals should be killed. He has also condemned legitimate anti-terror operations carried out in Birmingham.
The Saudi government is using its wealth and influence to fund Muslim schools and mosques around the world. Saudi Education Minister Abdullah bin Salih Obeid appears to have reneged on his 2006 promise to overhaul the literature used in these establishments.
Perhaps the last words should come from Denis MacEoin, author of the report. He states:
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should also be pressed to give full disclosure as to the extent and character of the support which it provides to a range of Islamic institutions in the United Kingdom. The British Government must demand a far greater level of transparency from Saudi charitable institutions operating in this country - and these should be monitored, regulated and held to public account on a regular basis. Finally, the public must be told whether Islamic preachers and teachers in the United Kingdom are granted diplomatic status, as in the US - and if so, how many of them enjoy this."
"The Government and other authority figures - including politicians, members of the Royal Family and those in positions of influence more generally - need to set a higher standard for their public partners and stakeholder organizations. They must insist that those Islamic partners and stakeholders remove such extremist literature from their midst, even when they did not publish or distribute it themselves. The authorities should also urge that umbrella bodies must not tolerate such materials appearing in locations associated with affiliated bodies. For example, the Metropolitan Police Service and the Association of Chief Police Officers should reassess their willingness to embrace bodies such as the Muslim Safety Forum - the self-designated 'advisory body... on issues concerning British Muslims' - when some of their affiliate organizations have not cleansed their premises of the literature featured here. The terms of engagement with these bodies need now to be re-examined - and a proper audit conducted as to what is to be gained and lost by such engagement."
