PROSTITUTION BEHIND THE VEIL, IRAN STYLE

FIVE bilingual videos below (narrated in English) provide an idea of "prostitution behind the veil" in Iran.

Along the lines of Ahmadi-Nejad denying here were gays in Iran (partly because they are executed by the dozen or thrown into hell hole prisons and disappear, there is also "no prostitution" as men can obain temporary ("sighe") wives officially through a cleric for a set period of time.

It can be for 30 minutes, an hour, a day, a night, a week-end or a month or several months. Or as long as it lasts.

The woman receives an agreed remuneration for becoming the "temporary wife", which though it sounds flimsy has a formal basis in Islamic law. Akin to concubines in ancient China.

A cottage industry has evolved from this. Tourism for men and women to spend time with each other at some location away from their homes and cities, usually a "resort".

They "marry" temporarily through a cleric attached to the travel agency - even if they do not know each other and the man pays for the female companion to go along with him! All legal and within the ISLAMIC sharia law. Formalized prostitution.
