AZADEGAN OPPOSITION TO KHATAMI
August 24, 2006
Jean F. Duff, M.A., M.P.H.
Managing Director of the Center
The Center for Global Justice and Reconciliation
Subject: The Center’s Invitation of Mr. Khatami
Dear Ms. Duff:
First of all, I must commend the CGJR for its admirable and worthy goals. Global justice would alleviate some of the pains of the downtrodden and help reduce, if not eradicate, poverty. And interfaith dialogue would certainly be a positive step in the direction of reconciliation and, God willing, world peace.
I am certain that in order to achieve these results, CGJR seeks and engages the cooperation of honest and dedicated partners who sincerely share its goals and ideals. This is precisely the reason why my colleagues and I were shocked to learn that CGJR had extended the hand of friendship to Mr. Khatami, under whose 8-year tenure as the President of the Islamic Republic, state sponsored atrocities were committed on national and international scale.
Mr. Khatami has a likable smile, and unlike most of his cohorts, is pleasant and seemingly rational. But the gentle demeanor is but a facade hiding a dedicated fundamentalist Islamist who has always been true to his mentor’s, i.e. Ayatollah Khomeini’s brand of uncompromising fundamentalism and enmity with the “Great Satan”.
Mr. Khatami has been one of the stalwarts of the Islamic Republic from its inception. (Alan Note: And their stalking horse to provide the West an excuse that Iran has a "democratically" elected government).
It is universally known that the former President has declared himself a proponent of “dialogue between civilizations”.
But it is not commonly known that in a number of speeches and pronouncements he has consistently characterized Israel as “a cancer on the body of nations”, and on numerous occasions when officiating at Friday prayers in Tehran, he has led the congregation with slogans of death to the Great Satan.
Mr. Khatami’s first high post was as the Minister of Culture and Guidance in 1984. His greatest achievement at the time was the creation of Hezbollah in Lebanon. His lesser achievement was the brutal enforcement of Islamic attire and public behavior. Flogging of young girls and women for wearing lipstick or not covering their hair adequately became commonplace. And men were accosted for wearing short sleeved shirts.
As the President of the Islamic Republic, by all documented accounts, his tenure was rife with corruption, brutal suppression, illegal incarceration, torture and murder of students and other dissidents, murder of prominent members of the opposition both inside Iran and abroad, continued plunder of national wealth, rampant increase in drug use by the youth, and prostitution becoming a thriving export industry.
But of course, there were some achievements as well: The secret development of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the development of short and medium range missile systems in Iran, and the financing of international terrorist organizations.
Without a doubt, CGJR believes fervently in basic human rights, and abhors atrocities.
The question is how can CGJR explain its invitation to a person who has been an active part of the leadership of the murderous regime for almost 30 years?
Of course we say yes to dialogue, but with whom and at what cost?
People should be held accountable for their deeds. Of the atrocities committed on Mr. Khatami’s watch, the following actually made international headlines. Barely one year into his first term, a series of government sanctioned murders, that came to known as the “chain murders”, were carried out both within Iran and in Europe:
--The leader of the Iranian Nation’s Party, Dariush Forouhar, a prominent and well respected opposition leader, and his wife Parvaneh, a well known author, were butchered to death in their apartment.
The government’s own investigation identified the assassins as members of the regime’s intelligence service. They were detained to quell the outcry, and released when things quieted down.
--A number of Kurdish-Iranian opposition leaders, among them Mr. Abdolrahman Ghasemlou, were assassinated in Germany. Investigation by German authorities linked the killings to agents of the Islamic Republic.
--Mr. Khatami talks of ‘openness’ and ‘dialogue’, but when the Tehran University students rose to demand openness, fairness and freedom, Mr. Khatami quashed their nascent aspirations with an iron fist.
Mr. Batebi, one of the students arrested at the time is still languishing in jail, nearing death because of a hunger strike protesting the dire conditions of his incarceration.
--Another incident that caught the attention of the international press, albeit for a brief moment, was the murder of a Canadian-Iranian photo journalist in 2003. Zahra Kazemi was visiting her aged mother in Iran and at the same time researching women’s conditions there.
She was apprehended, tortured, and beaten to death. Once again one of the regime’s ‘intelligence’ officers was arrested, tried and exonerated!
All cases recounted here are documented. In fact, a Google search will pull up most of these reports.
Azadegan has always advocated peaceful change for Iran, but sincerely believes that dialogue should not translate to appeasement of a vile, murderous and corrupt regime.
Mr. Khatami is not a private individual, but is still very much a part of the nomenclature and is an active member of the Expediency Council.
We respectfully recommend that in the spirit of supporting the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom, and affirmation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the CGJR withdraw its invitation to Mr. Khatami, the official public relations representatives of the Islamic Republic.

MORE BIAS AGAINST NON-MOSLEMS BY UN
"Before Ahtisaari only Hitler had dared to say that an entire people was guilty.... Scandalous, shameful and racist.
(Macedonia) August 28, 2006 - Serbia might request Ahtisaari's recall
Belgrade - The President of the Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija, Sanda Rashkovic-Ivic, will put forward a motion recommending to the Belgrade negotiating team to urge the recall of Martti Ahtisaari from the post of chief UN mediator in the negotiations over Kosovo.
In an interview with Radio Free Europe, Rashkovic-Ivic said that by his recent statement "Serbs as a nation are guilty", the UN Envoy Ahtisaari "has debased and insulted the Serbian nation", clearly taking the Albanian side in the negotiating process.
A meeting of the Serbian negotiating team aimed at reviewing the results of the current stage of Kosovo status talks is taking place on Monday.
It is due to be attended also by the President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic. Simultaneously, the Serbian Parliament convened for a session today to discuss the same topic.
As announced, the Serbian negotiators are due to decide on further steps, in the light of the recent Ahtisaari statement that "Serbs as a nation are guilty", i.e. that Slobodan Milosevic's policy will be taken into consideration when making decision on the Kosovo's status, since "every nation has to take responsibility for its past".
A weekend bomb [was used] against a cafe in the northern Serb area of the divided town of Kosovska Mitrovica where ethnic Albanians live to the south of a UN-guarded bridge.
Ahtisaari, winding up his four-day visit to Kosovo on Friday, indirectly confirmed his earlier stance.Asked by journalists for comment he said that "every nation carries a burden for which it has to pay".
The statement further enraged Belgrade, which opposes Kosovo's independence, and some politicians even called for Ahtisaari's resignation.
Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said in a statement that while the UN was seeking "a just and tenable solution for the status of Kosovo" Ahtisaari seemed "determined to do just the opposite."
Ahtisaari has been creating the impression that the negotiations were unnecessary, he said, "because the solution already exists and has only to be implemented - and that is Kosovo independence".
Spokesman for Kostunica's Democratic Party of Serbia, Andreja Mladenovic, said that "before Ahtisaari only Hitler had dared to say that an entire people was guilty", slamming Ahtisaari's statement as "scandalous, shameful and racist.
"Tension was heightened after an attack late Saturday on a Serbian cafe in the city of Kosovska Mitrovica, in which nine people, including a UN policemen and a pregnant Dutch woman, were injured.
The Serbian government said in a statement the "terrorist act" was encouraged by Ahtisaari's statement that "Serbs were guilty as a people".
"If something like that is said by a special envoy of the UN Secretary-general in the talks on the Kosovo status, then any violence against Serbs in justified and awarded," the government statement said.
The cafe in the divided Kosovo town of Mitrovica on Saturday, which injured nine people, has fuelled fears of a fresh wave of violence in the UN-run province, where nearly two million ethnic Albanians are pushing for independence from Serbia.
Alan's Footnote: to please the Islamic Regime of Iran, IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) top dog - Arab ex- General El-Barfadei removed his top investigator Chris Charlier, who insisted his evidence showed Iran was building a nucler bomb. Will Kofi Annan consider a non-Moslem request in similar fashion?

UN SPYING FOR HEZBOLLAH - MORE DETAILS
On October 7, 2000, three IDF soldiers were kidnapped by Hezbollah just yards from a UNIFIL shelter and dragged across the border into Lebanon, where they disappeared.
The U.N. was thought to have videotaped the incident or its immediate aftermath. Rather than help Israel rescue its kidnapped soldiers by providing this evidence, however, the U.N. obstructed the Israeli investigation.
For months the Israeli government pleaded with the U.N. to turn over any videotape that might shed light on the location and condition of its missing men. And for nine months the U.N. stonewalled, insisting first that no such tape existed, then that just one tape existed, and eventually conceding that there were two more tapes.
During those nine months, clips from the videotapes were shown on Syrian and Lebanese television.
DURING THE RECENT month-long war between Hezbollah and Israel, U.N. "peacekeeping" forces made a startling contribution: They openly published daily real-time intelligence, of obvious usefulness to Hezbollah, on the location, equipment, and force structure of Israeli troops in Lebanon.
UNIFIL--the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, a nearly 2,000-man blue-helmet contingent that has been present on the Lebanon-Israel border since 1978--is officially neutral.
Yet, throughout the recent war, it posted on its website for all to see precise information about the movements of Israeli Defense Forces soldiers and the nature of their weaponry and materiel, even specifying the placement of IDF safety structures within hours of their construction.
New information was sometimes only 30 minutes old when it was posted, and never more than 24 hours old.
Meanwhile, UNIFIL posted not a single item of specific intelligence regarding Hezbollah forces. Statements on the order of Hezbollah "fired rockets in large numbers from various locations" and Hezbollah's rockets "were fired in significantly larger numbers from various locations" are as precise as its coverage of the other side ever got.
This war was fought on cable television and the Internet, and a lot of official information was available in real time. But the specific military intelligence UNIFIL posted could not be had from any non-U.N. source. The Israeli press--always eager to push the envelope -- did not publish the details of troop movements and logistics.
Neither the European press nor the rest of the world media, though hardly bastions of concern for the safety of Israeli troops, provided the IDF intelligence details that UNIFIL did.
A search of Israeli government websites failed to turn up the details published to the world each day by the U.N
.
Inquiries made of various Israeli military and government representatives and analysts yielded near unanimous agreement that at least some of UNIFIL's postings, in the words of one retired senior military analyst, "could have exposed Israeli soldiers to grave danger."
These analysts, including a current high ranking military official, noted that the same intelligence would not have been provided by the U.N. about Israel's enemies.
Sure enough, a review of every single UNIFIL web posting during the war shows that, while UNIFIL was daily revealing the towns where Israeli soldiers were located, the positions from which they were firing, and when and how they had entered Lebanese territory, it never described Hezbollah movements or locations with any specificity whatsoever.
Compare the vague "various locations" language with this UNIFIL posting from July 25:
Yesterday and during last night, the IDF moved significant reinforcements, including a number of tanks, armored personnel carriers, bulldozers and infantry, to the area of Marun Al Ras inside Lebanese territory.
The IDF advanced from that area north toward Bint Jubayl, and south towards Yarun.Or with the posting on July 24, in which UNIFIL revealed that the IDF stationed between Marun Al Ras and Bint Jubayl were "significantly reinforced during the night and this morning with a number of tanks and armored personnel carriers."
This partiality is inconsistent not only with UNIFIL's mission but also with its own stated policies. In a telling incident just a few years back, UNIFIL vigorously insisted on its "neutral ity"--at Israel's expense.
Explaining their eventual about-face, U.N. officials said the decision had been made by the on-site commanders that it was not their responsibility to provide the material to Israel; indeed, that to do so would violate the peacekeeping mandate, which required "full impartiality and objectivity."
The U.N. report on the incident was adamant that its force had "to ensure that military and other sensitive information remains in their domain and is not passed to parties to a conflict."
Stymied in its efforts to recover the men while they were still alive, Israel ultimately agreed to an exchange in January 2004:
It released 429 Arab prisoners and detainees, among them convicted terrorists, and the bodies of 60 Lebanese decedents and members of Hezbollah, in exchange for the bodies of the three soldiers.
Blame for the deaths of those three Israelis can be laid, at least in part, at the feet of the U.N., which went to the wall defending its inviolable pledge never to share military intelligence about one party with another.
UNIFIL has just done what it then vowed it could never do. Once again, it has acted to shield one side in the conflict and to harm the other. Why is this permitted? For that matter, how did the U.N. obtain such detailed and timely military intelligence in the first place, before broadcasting it for Israel's enemies to see?

Test Results
Considering that a large number of visitors were from Israel (big drop recently), this is an interesting factor. Indicating perhaps that a very large number of visits are from Moslems or anti-Israel sectors of society - from all over the world - who come to the site using about 30-languages. Even those from Israel. And a huge sector arriving using Hebrew!
Not being Jewish myself, this wide support was also interesting as it was coming from all over the globe.
In any event, if you drop by AntiMullah, remember to go to News round-Ups and browse some of the other sub-sites. Trying to work a job, create a strong business plan for a fairly unique project, write and edit a couple of screenplays does on occasion strain sharing the adequate flow of "breaking news" that often comes my way.
A worldwide, exclusive Breaking story in the works! Coming soon. Not Israel related.

Beat Up Mullah Nassrallah
By the way, did you read that Syria has refused to allow UN peacekeepers to station themselves at the Syria / Lebanon border and has threatened it will close the border if that happens? What better proof that they want no interference with the re-arming of the Hezbollah. Not even from the "softie" UN.
If like me you do not read Hebrew fonts, here is how it goes:
1. The weights in the center of the first screen gradually fill as the program loads.
2. In the center of the bottom frame, an Israeli word bounces back and forth. CLICK ON IT.
3. This brings up a choice of three ways to strike the Mullah.
Boxing Gloves, A Foot and a Dumbell weight.
4. at the same time you have three arrows which direct the strike from left, center or right.
ENJOY yourselves and take out the frustration of Israel not finishing the job.

NO PUNCHES PULLED
NO PUNCHES PULLED HERE
Jimmy Carter, you're the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the Runner-in-Chief.
Bill Clinton, you played "ring around the Lewinsky" while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses embolden the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.
John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You've accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women and in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time... the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake.
You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam is another war that you were for, before you were against it.
John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof. And said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military expert.
Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine sir. You wouldn't amount to a pimple on a real Marine's ass. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away John.
Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned South East Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? See Dick run.
Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster sized pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqis torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news this week Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrate real torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you'd show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it.
Your legislation stripped support from the South Vietnamese which led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on you wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington.
Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer et al ad nauseam. Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied. That the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers. That we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we will run away again and all they have to do is hang on a little longer.
American news media, the New York Times particularly. Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers.
You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.
You are America's axis of idiots.
Your collective stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that.
Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.
Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with -self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war and this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.
No Commander in Chief, you don't get off the hook either. Our country has two enemies. Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within.
Your Soldiers are dealing with the outside force. It's your obligation to support them by confronting the axis of idiots.
America must hear it from you that these people are harming our country, abetting the enemy and endangering our safety. Well up a little anger please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets. Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot. They need you to do it now.

Intentional policies to destroy the Middle Class sector of Iranian society.
Meanwhile Pat Buchanan cites some similar fears about the USA:
“As Rome passed away, so, the West is passing away, from the same causes and in much the same way. What the Danube and Rhine were to Rome, the Rio Grande and Mediterranean are to America and Europe, the frontiers of a civilization no longer defended.”
“The children born in 2006 will witness in their lifetimes the death of the West."
One in every twelve people breaking into America has a criminal record.
By 2050, there will be 100 million Hispanics concentrated in the U.S. Southwest.
Between 10 and 20 percent of all Mexicans, Central Americans and Caribbean people have already moved to the United States.
Every month, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehends more illegal aliens breaking into our country, than the number of troops (150,000) we have in Iraq.

TOTAL DISCONNECT OF THE AMERICAN MIND FROM REALITY IN IRAN
This applies equally to much of the Administration, the Intelligence Agencies, much of the Military (specially retired talking heads advisors and TV pundits) and sadly so, the State Department.
Alan's response follows the blue comment:

"I feel for the people. But the reality is they are sitting on a powder keg with the lunatics running the asylum.I don't. An unstated corrallery of the Bush Doctrine is "citizens: you are responsible for your own country" This is an assertion of radical democracy. No more victim nations.
If a nation of millions allows a handful to rule, for decades, without any significant opposition they have de-facto made the decision to support those tyrants. Please don't come crying to us (though they will) when we are forced to bomb you because of the action of those rulers.
I will respect the Iranians when they rise up, violently, to depose the lunatics. Anything less is cowardice and unworthy of a supposedly great people.
At least some Nazi's tried to assassinate Hitler. Many others resisted. All I see from the Iranians are protests, which sometimes go violent. This is silly.
The time is long past to be organizing military resistance, buying guns, forming cells, and carrying out targeted assassinations of Mullahs.
This is what would certainly have happened in the USA decades ago were some sick sect of crazed religious fanatics attempt to impose dictatorship on the American people.
So no, I won't feel sorry for those who die. They have literally brought this upon themselves".
************************
Easy to stand in your shoes or sit in the safety of your chair and accuse a populace of cowardice because they no longer want to face an Arab mercenary force - the Basiji - newly equipped with $253 MILLION of weaponry and crowd control and riot suppression equipment AND open season to kill anyone they want to in the streets - without fear of punishment.
Their sole job - presently, is to repress any street location or university demonstrations and use whatever means they want. A new task envisaged for them will be the running of elections and screening of candidates. If it was bad and discriminatory before, the "fix" is in for the ardent followers of Hojatieh to win everything.
They have been given arrest authority BUT they take those arrested to their own sites and do with them as they please. And their pleasure is inevitably sadistic to the extreme.
No law, no oversight, no restrictions and nowhere for anyone to go and complain.
Within those parameters, would you DARE go into the streets of your own neighborhod to even shop for groceries let alone oppose anything or anyone? Say if the local gangs had the same mission in mind and the same immunity from punishment or retribution?
Be real, good friend.
Specially when the social weave of Iranian society - after over a quarter of a century of the Mullahs - has been weakened by corruption essential for survival.
Where married women take on several lovers to pay their daily life's needs and to feed their husbands and children.
Where prostitution is almost an unavoidable part of life for women. In best case scenarios as a beaten and degraded wife of some man - often with multiple wives. Who at any moment can find herself thrown into the street to join the countless homeless women on the streets of cities, who failed to please their husbands enough and thus become indigents with no way to earn a living
Where drugs are sold more easily than music CDs.
Where more than 400,000 starving children roam the streets of Tehran and will do anything to survive. Peddling themselves or others - snitching on others to the authorities for a meager reward - to survive another day.
Compared to Iran's current social turmoil and dislocation, the Jews almost "had it good" under Hitler - not much of an exaggeration since the Bassiji kill just as readily or more so than the Nazi SS. The streets and private homes are the concentration camps, not just the multitude of formal prisons.
They have been killed and maimed with tire irons by Bassijis for appearing close to a small crowd in the streets, even if not participants. What energy is left in these battered, sucked dry souls to do what you ask? To avoid your accusation of cowardice.
Put your thoughts into Islamic Iranian context not some philosophical, impossible parameters of what should have, could have, might have been done in an American scenario.
USEFUL IDIOTS by Amil Imani - foreword by Alan
Useful Idiots Are Islam’s Best Soldiers
Islam enjoys a large and influential ally among the non-Muslims: A new generation of “Useful Idiots,” that Lenin identified as those who lived in liberal democracies and furthered the work of communism. This new generation of Useful Idiots also lives in liberal democracies but serves the cause of Islamofascism—another virulent form of totalitarian ideology.
Useful Idiots are naïve, foolish, ignorant of facts, unrealistically idealistic, dreamers, willfully in denial or deceptive. They hail from the ranks of the chronically unhappy, the anarchists, the aspiring revolutionaries, the neurotics who are at war with life, the disaffected alienated from government, corporations, and just about any and all institutions of society. The Useful Idiot can be a billionaire, a movie star, an academe of renown, a politician, or from any other segment of the population.
Arguably, the most dangerous Useful Idiot is the “Politically Correct.” He is the master practitioner of euphemism, hedging, doubletalk, and outright deception.
The Useful Idiot derives satisfaction from being anti-establishment. He finds perverse gratification in aiding the forces that aim to dismantle an existing order, whatever it may be: an order he neither approves of nor he feels he belongs to.
The Useful Idiot is conflicted and dishonest. He fails to look inside himself and discover the causes of his own problems and unhappiness while he readily enlists himself in causes that validate his distorted perception.
Understandably, it is easier to blame others and the outside world than to examine oneself with an eye to self-discovery and self-improvement. Furthermore, criticizing and complaining—liberal practices of the Useful Idiot—require little talent and energy. The Useful Idiot is a great armchair philosopher and “Monday Morning Quarterback.”
The Useful Idiot is not the same as a person who honestly has a different point of view. A society without honest and open differences of views is a dead society. Critical, different and fresh ideas are the life blood of a living society—the very anathema of autocracies where the official position is sacrosanct.
Even the “normal” spends a great deal more energy aiming to fix things out there than working to overcome his own flaws and shortcomings, or contribute positively to the larger society. People don’t like to take stock of what they are doing or not doing that is responsible for the conditions they disapprove.
The Useful Idiot, among other things, is a master practitioner of scapegoating. He assigns blame to others while absolving himself of responsibility, has a long handy list of candidates for blaming anything and everything, and by living a distorted life, he contributes to the ills of society.
The Useful Idiot may even engage in willful misinformation and deception when it suits him. Terms such as “Political Islam,” or “Radical Islam,” for instance, are contributions of the Useful Idiot. These terms do not even exist in the native parlance of Islam, simply because they are redundant. Islam, by its very nature and according to its charter—the Quran—is a radical political movement.
It is the Useful Idiot who sanitizes Islam and misguides the populace by saying that the “real Islam” constitutes the main body of the religion; and, that this main body is non-political and moderate.
Regrettably, a large segment of the population goes along with these nonsensical euphemisms depicting Islam because it prefers to believe them. It is less threatening to believe that only a hijacked small segment of Islam is radical or politically driven and that the main body of Islam is indeed moderate and non-political.
But Islam is political to the core. In Islam the mosque and state are one and the same—the mosque is the state. This arrangement goes back to the days of Muhammad himself. Islam is also radical to the extreme. Even the “moderate” Islam is radical in its beliefs as well as its deeds. Muslims believe that all non-Muslims, bar none, are hellfire bound and well-deserve being maltreated to the utmost.
No radical barbaric act of depravity is out of bounds for Muslims in dealing with others. They destroy precious statues of Buddha, level sacred monuments of other religions, and bulldoze the cemeteries of non-Muslims—a few examples of their utter extreme contempt toward others.
Muslims are radical even in their intrafaith dealings. Various sects and sub-sects pronounce other sects and sub-sects as heretics worthy of death; women are treated as chattel, deprived of many rights; hands are chopped for stealing even a loaf of bread; sexual violation is punished by stoning, and much much more. These are standard day-to-day ways of the mainstream “moderate” Muslims living under the stone-age laws of Shariah.
The “moderate” Islam has been outright genocidal from inception. Their own historians record that Ali, the first imam of the Shiite and the son-in-law of Muhammad, with the help of another man beheaded 700 Jewish men in the presence of the prophet himself.
The prophet of Allah and his disciples took the murdered men’s women and children in slavery. Muslims have been, and continue to be, the most vicious and shameless practitioner of slavery. Slave trade, even today, is a thriving business in Islamic lands where wealthy, perverted sheikhs purchase children of the poor from traffickers for their sadistic gratification.
It is a well-established fact that a Jew’s word is his bond. The exact opposite is the case with Muslims. Muslims are taught deception and lying in the Quran itself—something that Muhammad practiced during his life whenever he found it expedient. Successive Islamic rulers and leaders have done the same.
Khomeini, the founder of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, for instance, rallied the people under the banner of democracy. All along his support for democracy was not a commitment of an honest man, but a ruse of a true Muslim. As soon as he gathered the reins of power, Khomeini went after the Useful Idiots of his time with vengeance.
These best children of Iran, having been thoroughly deceived and used by the crafty phony populist-religionist, had to flee the country to avoid the fate of tens of thousands who were imprisoned or executed by the double-crossing imam.
Almost three decades after the tragic Islamic Revolution of 1979, the suffocating rule of Islam casts its death-bearing pal over Iranians.
A proud people with enviable heritage is being systematically purged of its sense of identity and forced to think and behave like the barbaric and intolerant Muslims.
The lesson is clear. Beware of the Useful Idiots who live in liberal democracies. Knowingly or unknowingly, they serve as the greatest volunteer and effective soldiers of Islam. They pave the way for the advancement of Islam and they will assuredly be among the very first victims of Islam as soon as it assumes power.

Background information about Hezbollah and its involvement in anti-Israel and international terrorism according to Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center Special Bulletins
Overview
On July 12, 2006, Hezbollah carried out the most serious terrorist attack against IDF forces and Israeli communities along the Israeli-Lebanese border since the IDF withdrew from Lebanon in May 2000. During the attack two Israeli soldiers were abducted, eight soldiers and one civilian woman were killed and approximately 54 soldiers and civilians were wounded (as of noon on July 13).
The Israeli government convened an emergency meeting and stated that it viewed the Lebanese government as solely responsible for the Hezbollah attack. In response to the attack the IDF shelled Lebanese infrastructures and Hezbollah targets in both north and south Lebanon.
Hezbollah responded by firing Katyusha rockets at Israeli population centers in the northern part of the country. A separate analysis of the Hezbollah attack and the IDF's response will appear during the day.
During the past few years the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has issued dozens of Information Bulletins about Hezbollah, its involvement in anti-Israli and global terrorism and about the sponsorship it receives from Syria and Iran.

MUST WATCH - Netanyahu Interview
I must have missed the excerpts below but they were apparently discussed in the inverview with British Sky News.
Even those who aren't particularly sympathetic to Bibi Netanyahu could get a good measure of satisfaction from his interview with the British Television on Wednesday. I guess it can be attributed to his days of studying history at Harvard.
The interviewer asked him: "How come so many more Lebanese have been killed in this conflict than Israelis?" Natanyahu: "Are you sure that you want to start asking in that direction?"
Interviewer: Why not?
Natanyahu: "Because in World War II more Germans were killed than British and Americans combined, but there is no doubt in anyone's mind that the war was caused by Germany's aggression.
And in response to the German blitz on London, the British wiped out the entire city of Dresden, burning to death more German civilians than the number of people killed in Hiroshima.
Moreover, I could remind you that in 1944, when the R.A.F. tried to bomb the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, some of the bombs missed their target and fell on a Danish children's hospital, killing 83 little children .
Perhaps you have another question?"
Lebanese Realize SEVERE Cost of Hezbollah Activity
"Lebanese Tourism Minister Joe Sarkis: The War - An Iranian Attempt to Resolve Its Nuclear Issues through Lebanon. The Majority in the Lebanese Government Should Be More Resolute, Rather Than Always Trying to Reach a Consensus"
Following are excerpts from an interview with Lebanese Minister of Tourism Joe Sarkis, which aired on Noursat TV on August 11, 2006.
Joe Sarkis: We have seen that some of the countries in the region, and specifically Syria and Iran, are trying to impose their regional policies, and [to resolve] their issues and problems through the Lebanese arena.
Lebanon can no longer tolerate being the arena for failed gambles, and for the adventures and wars of others on Lebanese soil. As we have seen, the Lebanese have fought and even got killed for the sake of others. This makes no sense.
True, Israel is our enemy, but are Syria and Iran really fulfilling their duties of brotherhood and friendship towards Lebanon? I don't think this is what we have seen.
This has become evident from the way the Syrian brothers have behaved for a whole year towards Lebanon, and today it is also evident that the Iranians are trying to resolve their problems with the international community, regarding the nuclear issues, through the conflict in Lebanon.
[...]
We cannot tolerate this destruction and ruin anymore. People are being killed, not knowing for what. Clearly, all that has happened does not serve Lebanon's interest.
[...]
I admit that the Lebanese government should have been more resolute. We have always tried to reach results through general agreement between the different parties in the government, but we were not successful, and this certainly does not speak well for the government. (see Alan's note at the end).
Interviewer: But you are the majority, minister.
Joe Sarkis: That is true, but we have not exercised our majority as we should have, or as is acceptable among governments, with the majority overcoming the minority.
Because of the composition of Lebanon, we have tried as much as we could to make decisions - especially decisions of such importance - by agreement and consensus. We were not successful, but I think this war has taught us many things.
[...]
I hope all of us in Lebanon are aware that this war has not brought any results. This war has shown that the only great loser is Lebanon. Eventually, the war will end, and things will go back on track, but there will be one loser - Lebanon.
Therefore, I hope we have learned how not to repeat such incidents, which take us backwards. On the contrary, this time we insist on a final solution, so that these issues will not be reopened.
This solution can only be achieved through a strong Lebanese state, and through a capable and efficient government, which would assume control over things, as it should, and implement the law with full courage and strength, which would guarantee that the country could go on.
Alan's note: the comments above apply equally well to the lack resolve by the UN, Europeans and the USA, who all ended up gaining less than the determined Hezbollah and their firm supporters Syria (facilitator) and Iran (financer and supplier of arms).
Clearly the "cease fire" so obviously benefits the Hezbollah and those they represent either as proxy fighters or politically, that US pressure on Israel and the form of the "robust?" UN peace keepers is a joke. UNLESS it is the taking of a step back onto the hind leg in order to spring forward when the opportunity next presents itself.
I believe that Iran's August 22nd move (which might unfortunately be cataclysmic, including sending nuclear missiles onto Israel as discussed by the Iranian cleric in the video below, or if a lesser action, their response to the the August 31st deadline for cessation of nuclear uranium activity, will allow a political leap forward and a "final solution" of disarming or eradicating the Hezbollah. UN sanctions may goad Iran into unspeakable reaction but provide the excuse to deal firmly with them.
On a small scale Lebanon and the Hezbollah represents what needs to be done to Iran as described in my article "Iran the Final, Justified Solution".
From a humanitarian aspect, Iranian money is rebuilding Beirut while the Iranians themselves go hungry - literally not theoretically, in the streets, workers are not paid their wages and minimal infrastructure essentials like clean drinking water are no longer available where they once used to be.
Shades of North Korea, but a little different, though starving the populace to achieve military and political advantage has become the methodolgy of Iran's increasingly financially in difficulty, Hojatieh leaders.
Mullah Threat to Attack Tel Aviv - Iranian D-Day - August 22nd fast approaching.
Top Iranian Official Ahmad Khatami: Israel and the US Should Fear the Day Our Missiles Land in the Heart of Tel Aviv
Following are excerpts from a speech by Ahmad Khatami, member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, which aired on the Iranian News Channel (IRINN) on August 15, 2006.
Ahmad Khatami: This victory was promised in the Koran: "The party of Allah must triumph."
On this occasion, I want to tell Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Olmert that they should learn a lesson from this shameful defeat. They should not bare their fangs, expose their stings, or make threats against Islamic Iran.
They should learn a lesson from the fact that a single party [Hizbullah] has turned their days into dark nights. If they decided to display the slightest aggression against Islamic Iran, they should bear in mind that the missiles of the Lebanese Hizbullah, with a range of 70 kilometers, have turned Israel into a ghost-country.
They should fear the day that our missiles, with a range of 2,000 kilometers, land in the heart of Tel Aviv. Therefore, we hope that Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Olmert have learned the necessary lesson. They should know that playing with Islam is like playing with a lion's tail.

U P D A T E D - PALESTINIANS? PURE INVENTION. NO SUCH RACE OR PEOPLE
ARAFART - Revised - Originally Compiled 5-16-2003 - Some REAL LIFE facts compiled in response to a complaint by a student that I had insulted the "great man". Most of the article is addressed to the student but says what needs to be known.
(To student)
You asked me what I thought would most likely happen in the near future (May 2003 time frame) and this is probably as close to an initial answer as possible. Though what happens after that is still open ended.Arafart has tried to destabilize every Arab country that had helped him and he's too old to change, so there could be vast conflagration in North African Arab countries and destabilization in Jordan. More later.
Pointing to himself, he quotes the Arabic adage "Hasm Hazm," which loosely translated means "He who has the last word." Another favorite adage of his is: "If it doesn't break us, it makes us stronger," remembering the multitude of times he has been kicked in the butt. No, not by Israelis but by Arab nations after he tried to stab them in the back.
He knows about Washington's idea of moving him to Gaza and dismisses it as an "American-Zionist conspiracy" that the Arab nation will smash to bits.
Since his confinement in Ramallah, Arafat has abandoned his most insistent demands; he no longer wants an international force to keep Israelis and Palestinians apart and shrugs off the Saudi peace initiative as a device to mask the secret willingness of Arab rulers to go along with the "American-Zionist conspiracy." (Little wonder after how he behaved toward them and trying to destabilize their countries).
Above all, he wants to remove Egypt and Jordan, but also Saudi Arabia and Syria, from any involvement in Palestinian affairs. (He prefered the French and Europeans who fell for his lies. Arabs who had experienced him as a person knew better).
This he hopes to achieve by stirring up increasingly violent popular riots in Arab cities in unison with a fresh wave of suicide and terrorist attacks against Israel, which he is hatching even now. (Watch this happen).
When he refers to himself, it is no longer as Palestinian president, but as the pre-eminent pan-Arab leader. (Watch Ahmadi-Nejad try to follow that example as the pre-eminent pan-Islamic leader).
He dwells at length on the growing manifestation of martyrs and suicides in Arab lands, holding up as an example the Egyptian who was killed Friday when he tried to infiltrate Israel from Sinai and the Egyptian woman caught today in Taba, attempting to smuggle explosive substances into Israel. In Arafat's eyes, both were "martyrs of the Arab nation" – and path-blazers. (Today Ahmadi-Nejad claims 52,000 homiciders ready to go).
Arafat pins his highest hopes on Saddam Hussein, declaring that at the peak of popular unrest in the Arab states and the fresh anti-Israel suicide cycle, Iraq will choose the moment to throw its might against Israel and Jordan.
An American military offensive against Baghdad will make no difference, Arafat believes. He has no doubt that the offensive will fail and the Iraqi armed forces of Saddam Hussein will be free in no time to loose deadly missile attacks against Jordan and Israel.
(To pro-Palestinian university student in USA).
Did you know that there was never any country called Palestine? Did you know that there is no such thing as a Palestinian people?
You will find Palestine listed as a region as it always has been, but definitely never a country. We can locate the Mojave Desert on the USA map, but we still would never recognize it as our 51st state, let alone a sovereign country. Nor any residents who migrated there, a "Mojavian" people. Even if some have traditionally lived locally for a long time
Only about 120,000 nomadic Arabs resided in an area that covered the claimed, so-called "occupied" territories, the state of Israel and Jordan. When Mark Twain visited the area, he wrote he found nothing but a wasteland.
During the 19 years that these territories - including Jerusalem and Gaza - were occupied by the kingdoms of Jordan and Egypt, no one talked about a Palestinian state nor a Palestinian people. These Arab states recognized no such thing.
The fact simply is that there are no Palestinians nor were there any.
These people are generic Arabs like all other Arabs, and they happen to live in a region called Palestine. They are not a separate people. Anymore than Siberians are a separate people in Russia.
Israel did not go to war against a Palestinian state and occupy its land. Rather, Israel was attacked by six Arab countries at once. She defended herself, defeated her attackers, and won the so-called territories, not from the Palestinians, but from Jordan and Egypt. And the Golan Heights from Syria.
Most Arabs living in Palestine today are not indigenous to the region. It was not until after the Jews had changed deserts and swamps into a productive and thriving land that the Arabs started migrating there.
Arafat, the head "Palestinian" was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. Did you know that? What's he got to do with Palestine, other than a hijacker of a cause which lined his pockets and those of his wife?
Any more than intruder or invader "ayatollah" Rouhollah Khomeini, with a British father from Bristol, England and an Indian mother from the Kashmir area had anything Persian or Iranian about him.
I'm not Jewish but am amazed how much hatred seems to exist against this race and nation, to the extent of according wide spread legitimacy, specially by the Press and Media, who should know better, to illegitimate claims by their opponents.
Not liking historical truth because it does not serve your purpose or agree with what you or your friends think, is emotionally understandable. But my pointing it out does not mean I'm taking sides.
You can do that after reading all this. I present you decide. Don't get angry at me because it appears the Israelis were in the right at that time - thus invalidating the Palestinian excuses or justification for hatred and uncivilized acts.
But look who is biased?? Did you notice you cannot accept a differing point of view from your own? I'm definitely not Jewish, nor specifically pro-Jewish but as someone who knows much more than you about the politics of the world, not just the Middle East and am old enough to have lived some of it, I think your attitude needs to be a bit more flexible to be justifiable.
I lived in that area longer than you have been alive, so just because you have Palestinian friends at school, we all probably have Palestinian friends, don't get carried away by surrounding emotions.
It's because I do know so much about the politics of the area that I differ with you on what is the truth, though even that is not an absolute. Historically the Jews have the right to that area of land - justification was on their side. Then things unraveled after that, where both have to bear much of the blame for what's going on. No saints here.
It might interest you - and I was there in Iran at the time - that for the first six months or so of the ayatollahs revolution, ALL the firing squads that killed so many Iranians were ONLY manned by the 2,000 or so men Arafat brought with him to Iran when he came.
Using the mullah's ignorance, Arafat plundered the art work, antiques etc. etc from the palaces, private homes and museums and took them out of Iran by convoy of hundreds of trucks going back and forth almost daily. Plunder claimed as his payment for supporting Khomeini and doing the killings by firing squad.
The mullahs didn't understand art nor want these things, not even Iran's historical treasures, so if he wanted them instead of lots of money then goody, goody! Just don't let him take any jewelry. He finally got young Iranians to do the executions by mixing them in with his men and threatening to shoot them if they did not shoot to kill those who had been condemned to die.
And as you may have heard - you are too young to actually know - this included hundreds and hundreds of young girls and totally innocent, non-political people who got shot BY MISTAKE when, blindfolded as they were, they went into the wrong line!! Or had been arrested as part of a family and friends round-up when a single member of that enclave was suspected of something! You weren't old enough to see or even sense all this.
Nothing to do with Jews or Palestinians. Everything to do with the kind of person Arafat is and represents as a so-called Palestinian - and the man you are supporting. He didn't just do nasty things to the Jews, he did horrible things to Iranians, who had nothing to do with Palestine. You really don't know enough about real life and react to glimpses of it. Specially with fervent anti-Jewish friends to incite you.
I don't personally overly care who is getting killed one way or another and don't condone it on either side. But if you go and kick someone and then get your nose bloodied, whose fault is that? Specially after the tenth time you do it?
Arafat was exiled before and there is no country (though Morocco seems to be weighing the possibility) which now wants to have him if he is sent away by the Israelis. In previous times he and his Palestinians tried to overthrow and destabilize the government of every country which gave them shelter.
Even Jordan, which was originally intended as the Palestinian state, threw him and his Palestinians out after he tried to over throw the government.
And just because history does happen to favor the Israeli position - something to which you have had no exposure nor have studied, nor can have a clue - it is something nevertheless you have to accept, even if it removes the justification of the cause you have espoused.
I grew up in England so was constantly having to read all about the British Empire and the Middle East was part of it. Including all the original mess and hardships of Israel.
If you could read without getting your blood boiling because it's contrary to what your friends have told you - again you have no first hand knowledge - you may end up with a broader and obviously different point of view.
Then again, what you do or don't do matters little to anyone but yourself. As you grow older you will mature and mellow, so don't despair.
The revolution in Iran happened not because the Shah was so bad but because the Western world wanted a lock on Persian oil and didn't realize how easy it is to inflame people your age who have high ideology, totally untempered by experience or knowledge. Idiot Jimmy Carter added his personal peeve against the Shah with utter disregard to what would happen to the world if he helped the Soviets overthrow the monarchy.
And in Iran, totally uneducated politically or otherwise, though there was a growing percentage of literacy, the insanity fo Marxist-Islam did the damage intended through fomenting an uneducated, young populace. Reading is a tool but knowing how to analyze and understand what to read for deeper knowledge is being educated and experienced. Iran was swiftly moving in that direction but had a long way to go.
As I said, nearly 60% of Iranians were under the age of 25 (!!) when they were fanned into doing something nearly everyone seems to regret - even most of the revolutionary factions.
20+ years later life did not get better as Khomeini's face on the moon promised. Except for a number of mullahs like Rafsanjani, owner of a small pistachio orchard, suddenly building personal $2 Billion projects in Canada. With his own money. A penniless cleric a decade or so ago ?
Your fervor, as a student with easily invoked high ideals is understandable but your commentary was definitely "deeg be deeg goft ruyat siah" or the pot calling the kettle black.
The pictures of Arafat, to which you objected, were about the kindest way I could poke fun at a man who has killed thousands of innocents. In Iran !!! Who cares about what he does in Palestine? He is not a good person and if he ever was, he has not been for at least a quarter of a century.
MORE ON THE PALESTINIANS
Palestinians doubt Blair can deliver,” announces the BBC. “Four Palestinians die in West Bank,” reports CNN. “IDF demolishes building used by Palestinian gunmen,” announces Israel’s government run Channel 1 News. The modern media is filled with stories about the Palestinians, their plight, their dilemmas and their struggles. All aspects of their lives seem to have been put under the microscope.
Only one question never seems to be addressed: Who are the Palestinians? Who are these people who claim the Holy Land as their own? What is their history? Where did they come from? How did they arrive in the country they call Palestine?
Now that both US President George Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon (in direct opposition to the platform he was elected on) have come out in favor of a Palestinian state, it would be prudent to seek answers to these questions. For all we know, Palestine could be as real as Disneyland or less so.
The general impression given in the media is that Palestinians have lived in the Holy Land for hundreds, if not thousands of years. No wonder, then, that a recent poll of French citizens shows that the majority believe (falsely) that prior to the establishment of the State of Israel an independent Arab Palestinian state existed in its place.
Yet curiously, when it comes to giving the history of this “ancient” people most news outlets find it harder to go back more than the early nineteen hundreds.
CNN, an agency which has devoted countless hours of airtime to the “plight” of the Palestinians, has a website which features a special section on the Middle East conflict called “Struggle For Peace”.
It includes a promising sounding section entitled “Lands Through The Ages” which assures us it will detail the history of the region using maps. Strangely, it turns out, the maps displayed start no earlier than the "very ancient" date of 1917. Good grief!
The CBS News website has a background section called “A Struggle For Middle East Peace.’’ Its history timeline starts no earlier than 1897. The NBC News background section called ‘’Searching for Peace’’ has a timeline which starts in 1916. BBC’s timeline starts in 1948.
Yet, the clincher must certainly be the Palestinian National Authority’s own website. While it is top heavy on such phrases as “Israeli occupation” and “Israeli human rights violations” the site offers practically nothing on the history of the so-called Palestinian people.
The only article on the site with any historical content is called “Palestinian History - 20th Century Milestones” which seems only to confirm that prior to 1900 there was no such concept as the Palestinian people.
While the modern media maybe short on information about the history of the “Palestinian people” the historical record is not.
Books, such as Battleground by Samuel Katz and From Time Immemorial by Joan Peters, long ago detailed the history of the region. Far from being settled by Palestinians for hundreds, if not thousands of years, the Land of Israel, according to dozens of visitors to the land, was, until the beginning of the last century, practically empty.
Alphonse de Lamartine visited the land in 1835. In his book, Recollections of the East, he writes "Outside the gates of Jerusalem we saw no living object, heard no living sound…."
None other than the famous American author Mark Twain, who visited the Land of Israel in 1867, confirms this. In his book Innocents Abroad he writes, “A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action. We reached Tabor safely…. We never saw a human being on the whole journey.”
Even the British Consul in Palestine reported, in 1857, “The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population…”
In fact, according to official Ottoman Turk census figures of 1882, in the entire Land of Israel, there were only 141,000 Muslims, both Arab and non-Arab.
This number was to skyrocket to 650,000 Arabs by 1922, a 450% increase in only 40 years.
By 1938 that number would become over 1 million or an 800% increase in only 56 years. Population growth was especially high in areas where Jews lived.
Where did all these Arabs come from?
According to the Arabs the huge increase in their numbers was due to natural childbirth. In 1944, for example, they alleged that the natural increase (births minus deaths) of Arabs in the Land of Israel was the astounding figure of 334 per 1000.
That would make it roughly three times the corresponding rate for the same year of Lebanon and Syria and almost four times that of Egypt, considered amongst the highest in the world. Unlikely, to say the least.
If the massive increase was not due to natural births, then were did all these Arabs come from? All the evidence points to the neighboring Arab states of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.
In 1922 the British Governor of the Sinai noted that “illegal immigration" was not only going on from the Sinai, but also from Trans-Jordan and Syria.” In 1930, the British Mandate sponsored Hope-Simpson Report noted that “unemployment lists are being swollen by immigrants from Trans-Jordania” and “illicit immigration" through Syria and across the northern frontier of Palestine is material.”
The Arabs themselves bear witness to this trend. For example, the governor of the Syrian district of Hauran, Tewfik Bey el Hurani, admitted in 1934 that in a single period of only a few months over 30,000 Syrians from Hauran had moved to the Land of Israel.
Even British Prime Minister Winston Churchill noted the Arab influx. Churchill, a veteran of the early years of the British mandate in the Land of Israel, noted in 1939 that “far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied.”
Far from displacing the Arabs, as they claimed, the Jews were the very reason the Arabs chose to settle in the Land of Israel. Jobs provided by newly established Zionist industry and agriculture lured them there, just as Israeli construction and industry provides most Arabs in the Land of Israel with their main source of income today.
Malcolm MacDonald, one of the principal authors of the British White Paper of 1939, which restricted Jewish immigration to the Land of Israel, admitted (conservatively) that were it not for a Jewish presence the Arab population would have been little more than half of what it actually was.
Today, when due to the latest “intifada”, Arabs from the territories under 35 are no longer allowed into pre-1967 Israel to work, unemployment has skyrocketed to over 40% and most rely on European aid packages to survive.
Not only the pre-state Arabs lied about being indigenous.
Even today, many prominent so-called Palestinians, it turns out, are foreign born. Edward Said, an Ivy League Professor of Literature and a major Palestinian propagandist, long claimed to have been raised in Jerusalem. However, in an article in the September 1999 issue of Commentary Magazine, Justus Reid Weiner revealed that Said actually grew up in Cairo, Egypt, a fact which Said himself was later forced to admit.
But why bother with Said? PLO chief Yasir Arafat himself, self declared “leader of the Palestinian people”, has always claimed to have been born and raised in “Palestine”. In fact, according to his official biographer Richard Hart, as well as the BBC, Arafat was born in Cairo on August 24, 1929 and that’s where he grew up.
To maintain the charade of being an indigenous population, Arab propagandists have had to do more than a little rewriting of history. A major part of this rewriting involves the renaming of geography.
For two thousand years the central mountainous region of Israel was known as Judea and Samaria, as any medieval map of the area testifies. However, the state of Jordan occupied the area in 1948 and renamed it the West Bank. This is a funny name for a region that actually lies in the eastern portion of the land and can only be called “West” in reference to Jordan.
This does not seem to bother the majority of news outlets covering the region, which universally refer to the region by its recent Jordanian name.
The term “Palestinian" is itself a masterful twisting of history. To portray themselves as indigenous, Arab settlers adopted the name of an ancient Canaanite tribe, the Philistines, that died out almost 3000 years ago. The connection between this tribe and modern day Arabs is nil.
Who is to know the difference? Given the absence of any historical record, one can understand why Yasser Arafat claims that Jesus Christ, a Jewish carpenter from the Galilee, was a Palestinian!
Every year, at Christmas time, Arafat (when he was alive) went to Bethlehem and told worshippers that Jesus was in fact “the first Palestinian”.
If the Palestinians are indeed a myth, then the real question becomes “Why?” Why invent a fictitious people? The answer is that the myth of the Palestinian people serves as the justification for Arab occupation of the Land of Israel - not the other way round!
While the Arabs already possess 21 sovereign countries of their own (more than any other single people on earth) and control a land mass 800 times the size of the Land of Israel, this is apparently not enough for them. They therefore feel the need to rob the Jews of their one and only country, one of the smallest on the planet.
Unfortunately, many people ignorant of the history of the region, including much of the world media, are only too willing to help.
It is interesting to note that the Bible makes reference to a fictitious nation confronting Israel. “They have provoked me too jealously by worshipping a non-god, angered me with their vanities. I will provoke them with a non-nation; anger them with a foolish nation (Deuteronomy 32:21).”
On second thought, it may be unfair to compare Palestine to Disneyland. After all, Disneyland really exists. As do true Disneylanders like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy etc.
NOTE: the reality of the Israeli and Hez-ebola conflict mirrors the above in many ways. Specially when Iran's President and Hezbollah sponsor, Ahmadi-Nejad, in his Wallace interview, states that the Hezbollah were simply and justifiably defending their homes against Israeli incursion and attack and were trying to eject the Israeli occupiers from their homeland. Matters little or not at all that Israel had been out of Lebanon for at least six years and would have stayed out if their soldiers had not been kidnapped by the Hez-ebolas.
UPDATE INFORMATION (with annotations by Alan)
The First Palestinian State by Emanuel A. Winston
Oh. You didn’t know there was a First Palestinian State?
It’s not necessary to go back to 1964 when, with Egypt’s help, the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) was formed - with the sole intent of engaging in terror for the purpose of conquering the Jewish State, with the assistance of all the Arab/Muslim nations.
Those goals of the PLO have not changed.
Yasser Arafat was elected Chairman of the PLO in 1969. Arafat and his terrorists ended up in the Kingdom of Jordan after a series of unsuccessful wars by the Arab/Muslim nations against Israel.
There, they arrogantly walked the streets of Amman well-armed and with supreme confidence. They intimidated the people of Jordan. Between 1967 and 1971, the PLO challenged King Hussein for political control of Jordan.
Hussein made 26 agreements to keep the Peace. Arafat signed them all and broke them all. The last straw would be when Arafat put out a kill order for King Hussein’s brother, who commanded the Jordanian Army and, particularly, the special Bedouin troops who had clashed numerous times with Arafat’s thugs.
This was not going to end up Arafat’s State by coup d’etat, but it was a lesson in his MO (Modus Operandi). Hussein’s Army was called up and a memorable slaughter of Arafat’s followers took place, an event the Arab Palestinians called "Black September".
The major conflict began in September 1970, but took 17 months until Arafat’s terrorists fled, mostly into Lebanon.
However, many crossed the Jordan and were rescued by Israeli settling pioneers on the west side of the Jordan River.
In Lebanon, the Arab Palestinians were greeted with open arms by their so-called brother Arabs. Like with the Hez-Ebola currently, It was a case of mistaken identity, which the Lebanese did not know then was a one-sided hudna (time of false peace, rest and re-arming for Arafat’s terrorists). To this day, the Lebanese people bitterly regret opening their borders to Arafat’s Arab Palestinians.
Then, it began. Arafat first established the parameters of a terror state much as they started to do in Jordan before Black September.
Wherever they gained critical mass in numbers and arms, (like the Hez-ebola have done currrently) that area of the city or country became theirs. Every street corner was an Arab Palestinian ‘checkpoint’ to collect pass-through money, but also, frequently, to rape women passengers, steal cars and extort whatever they wanted.
As in Jordan, Arafat’s Arab Muslim Palestinian gunman acted as conquerors, threatening everyone, looting and taxing through terror.
As Arafat expanded his control over Christian and Muslim Lebanese, they too became part of the conflict that became a 12-year Civil War, killing 100,000 Christian and Muslim Lebanese.
Lebanon had once been called the Paris of the Middle East, the Garden of Eden spot for vacationing Arabs, with a Banking Center for the Arab world - but all that was destroyed. The Christians and Muslims had worked out a ‘peaceful, political accommodation’ to run Lebanon and, particularly, Beirut. Arafat had stirred them up, so now they were bitter enemies, attacking each other and fighting Arafat’s Palestinian Mini-State of Terror.
The killings went on day and night, with whole villages massacred, with a retaliatory massacre soon after. Arafat turned the various Arab refugee camps into his bases of operation. Weapons and explosives were stored in apartment building, hospitals and schools, using the civilians as human shields. As confusion and terror reigned, Arafat continued to expand his mini-State of Palestine with the presumption that one day all of Lebanon would be a Palestinian State.
Arafat’s methods were a mirror image of what Americans found in Iraq, particularly Baghdad, where Saddam’s family and Republican Guards wreaked havoc. Granted, Saddam’s regime was larger and very well-funded, but the hideous brutality was virtually the same.
Arafat’s gunman roamed the streets of Lebanon with modified pick-up trucks, manned with 30-50 caliber guns mounted in back. They were looking for various factions of Christian militia to gun down, but Muslims were also shot dead - as were any of the few Jews who still lived in Lebanon. (By that time, the Arab/Muslim nations had ejected almost all of their Jews (approximately 800,000) and had confiscated all their property and assets - personal and community. In effect, this was a replay of Hitler and Europe’s confiscation of all that their Jews owned.)
Arafat launched frequent terrorist cross border attacks into Israel from his safe Mini-State in Lebanon - just as does Hezb’Allah does now. Hezb’Allah, as everyone knows is a "fierce/ruthless" terror organization based in Lebanon, run by Syria and funded by Iran.
When those attacks became intolerable, Prime Minister Begin gave Defense Minister Gen. Ariel Sharon permission to attack Arafat’s Terror State in Lebanon. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) discovered and exposed many things that were photographed, catalogued and described in books published subsequently about the savagery of Arafat’s treatment of his Lebanese brothers.
As today, the Left-leaning liberal media ignored what Israel had discovered, but they did castigate Israel for daring to respond to Palestinian terror attacks. Israel’s early encounters came from what then was called the RPG Kids (Rocket-Propelled Grenade). These were 9- to 11-year old kids who were trained (on Arafat’s orders) to use rocket-propelled grenades and hide behind their seemingly innocent youth. Many Israeli soldiers were killed because they hesitated to kill mere children.
However, these were not ‘mere’ children; they were fully trained Palestinian killers who were merely smaller in height than Arafat’s regular terrorists. They were trained from early childhood to hate, kill and obey their master. (That education to hate, kill and obey continues to this day in the Palestinian Authority and the Hez-ebola terrorist virus that has taken over Lebanon just as Arafart did before). The IDF discovered miles of machine-dug tunnels, stocked full of arms, ammunition and plans for the next major war against Israel - aimed at her elimination (shades of Hez-ebola today).
These were the pre-stocked positions for planned advancing Palestinians, with regular Syrian troops, into Israel.
I believe it was the Austrians who supplied the huge tunnel-digging machines, which could dig wide tunnel into the Lebanese mountains, thus allowing large trucks to deliver their deadly loads.
When Israeli troops broke through into Beirut in 1982, they were again shocked at what they found. Much the same as in 2003, American troops were shocked when they entered various compounds of Saddam Hussein and his two sons, Uday and Qusay.
Torture rooms, masochistic sex rooms and always the fields of hundreds of thousands executed Iraqis - with Shi’ites and Kurds topping the list. In 1982 when the Israeli soldiers entered the hospitals in Lebanon, they found Lebanese Christians’ bodies stacked like cordwood in the hallways. Their blood had been totally drained for transfusions into Arafat’s wounded, ‘more worthy’ fighters (on Arafat’s orders). (FYI the Islamic Regime of Iran also issued a directive - copy posted in the Graphics section of this site - to draw the blood of prisoners and use this for transfusions for Revolutionary Guard fighters).
Arafat’s men often used special, pre-Christian, torture and death on captured prisoners. Copying the Roman technique of drawing and quartering captured prisoners for the amusements of the crowds, Arafat used four cars to slowly pull a man apart by driving in four different directions. Here, too, the mob of Arafatian Arabs found this to be exciting and cheered.
This ‘mind-set’ is endemic in most Arab nations, (despite their claim that Islam is a religion of peace and goodness); we recall the two Americans in Mosul, Iraq, being shot, pulled from their car, having their throats slit, and being mutilated. Then the mob moved in to crush their heads with cement blocks, and to stamp on the two doomed soldiers. The surrounding mobs cheered delightedly.
This, in turn, was similar to the lynching the Arab Palestinians committed against the two Israeli soldiers who made a wrong turn into Ram’Allah, and the frequent lynching of their own people who they accuse of being ‘collaborators’.
Then, there was the matter of the village leaders in Lebanon (the mukhtars of the village) paying baksheesh, a.k.a. protection money, to keep his own village protected from Arafat’s murdering marauders. One mukhtar refused to pay protection money. So, Arafat’s collectors kidnaped the mukhtar’s teen-age daughter, raped her, cut off her breasts and delivered her back to the mukhtar’s doorstep in a gunny sack.
No tax collector of a mini-state could have been more convincing. (And we complain about the Internal Revenue Service in the USA. Though truth be told they in some ways often have the same mind set and inflict financial pain - that often turns to physical distress).
There were thousands of these examples, photographed, catalogued, books written and all seemingly forgotten - except for some. This was Arafat’s First Palestinian State, which was crumpled by the invasion by Israel in 1982, when Arafat and his killers came under American protection as they shipped out to Tunis.
Later, under the auspices of Oslo, Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres resurrected Arafat, gave his Arab Palestinians and Arafat a reprieve and invited them back.
Most recall what followed their return. Since Oslo was signed September 13, 1993 - 1,500 Israelis (and at least 45 Americans) were brutally murdered and hundreds of thousands wounded - many maimed for life. Without the exact count of the Arab Palestinians tortured and murdered at Arafat’s orders in those territories handed to him under Oslo, there have been hundreds.
Then, one must add in those suicide bombers - the young men, women and children convinced or brainwashed to blow themselves up in order to kill Jews and ascend to Muslim Paradise and receive 72 virgins.
When Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu turned over Hebron under pressure from America (expecting gratitude from America, which he did not get), the Palestinian businessmen begged Israel not to leave. They knew what was coming.
In all the territories given over to Arafat and his Palestinian Authority, every business, manufacturer, farm suddenly had a new partner in one of Arafat’s officers. That was Al Capone’s business: the protection racket, which Arafat carried to astonishing levels of corruption.
Even the Arab Palestinians in the Eastern section of Jerusalem want Israeli citizenship, before they fall under the control of Arafat at the behest of the Bush Administration - now a not-so-silent partner of the Geneva Accords. Wherever Arafat and his Arab Palestinians achieved a critical mass, they tried to produce a State born out of terror, torture, blackmail and extortion.
The Arab Palestinian State that the Bush Administration is trying to create through the Road Map - and now through aberrant Leftist Jews, employed by the E.U. (European Union) - cannot be anything else but what it has always been. It doesn’t matter that Israel is forced back to her indefensible 1967, or even her 1949, borders, or that there is no wall to separate terror from civilization.
Arafat and his Arab Palestinians have proven time and again that any entity they can control, be it a state or merely a city, immediately becomes a base for launching terror and suppressing their own people. After all, why would Arafat and his Arab Muslim Palestinians rule any differently than Saddam of Iraq, the Assads of Syria, the Ayatollahs of Iran, etc.?
Should Israel and Bush be foolish enough to actually give Arafat or his successor a large base of operations called a ‘state’, with Jerusalem as its capital, rest assured that, like Saddam’s Iraq, Syria or Iran, they will begin absorbing high-tech weapons of mass destruction, including NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical), and their reach will be shockingly far.
They are already linked up with Syria and Iran, and had been closely linked to Iraq, and will probably be again when Bush pulls the American troops home - before elections.
This new terrorist state (or the Hez-ebolas) will never be satisfied with a Palestinian State on only the ‘West Bank’. The new state will use the Palestinians in Jordan, who are already 75% of the population (or more), to overthrow King Abdullah.
Then, it is just a matter of time before they subvert the region, in lockstep with the other terror state of Syria. So, this is the preamble to what will be the Second State of Palestine, courtesy of the Bush family and a weakened Israeli Prime Minister. Look at a map of the neo-Palestinian State, the centerpiece of a chain of Islamic nations going north and south, which are to be a choke chain for Israel and the region.
This then will be the legacy of Bush and Sharon to the Free World and the people of Israel - guaranteed terror for millions in Israel and the Free West for years to come.
Arafat’s terror state (or his Hamas successors) will have many godfathers - not the least of whom would be Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Yossi Beilin, the U.N., the Europeans, Colin Powell and the pro-Arab U.S. State Department, the Bush family, James Baker III, among many others.
As I said at the beginning, the Arab Palestinians had a first terror mini-state in Lebanon, which demonstrated the prototype and Arafat’s MO - terror and murder. The godfathers know all of this, but they plunge ahead - often with Israel’s acceptance of a born-to-die fate, which some Jews have accepted as their destiny.
They would rather be de-Judaized as their entrance into acceptance by the world of nations. Let us hope and pray that a new leader will emerge who will understand that Israel must say: "No!" to their American friends; "No!" to the Europeans; "No!" to the U.N.; "No!" to the Arab League; and "Absolutely no!" to acceptance of a so-called mini-state of unremitting terror. Whether a Hezzie, 'palestinian' or combined one.
