ReplyDeletethe clothes do not contribute to drowning because they are made of the same exact fabric that non-muslims wear all the time at the beach: rash guard/surf shirts and board shorts. but perhaps you are not familiar with western culture as i, a muslim woman, am.
in fact, i received OVERWHELMING support from non-muslims when the AP article came out. my catalog request has hit the roof--and gone through it!! and my sales (to both muslims and non-muslims) has been absolutely incredible. i didn't expect it myself. non-muslims have written to me with quotes such as "Don't stop!" and "You need to market to outside the Muslim community". ...wow...i'm thankful to God.
