Obama claims he never knew his pastor had these ideas nor did he ever, during 20-years of attending his church ever hear Wright say anything like this.
For someone who wants to be the President, his not having a notion about his pastor's midsets puts into question his ability to sense international matters as they relate to threats on America. This mental blindess is NOT an asset for a President.
Americans find this hard to believe and accuse Obama of condoning these attitudes if not agreeing with them.
