Obama Chicago Style Insanity - IT'S GETTING WORSE AND WORSE (worser and worser)

Elated by forcing through a 2000+ page "healthcare" bill without anyone of the VOTING Congressional Democrats reading it, knowing what was in it (Pelosi: "we will know after we pass it") and now discovering how flawed it is - forget how unpopular with "we the people" - then using a string of simple voice votes to pass other serious legislation so no trace of actual votes is recorded, the Administration and Legislative thugs are trampling, stomping on our Constitutional rights to a vomit inducing level.

They are now "deeming" (pretending) that a bill that has not even been written, nor exists - has been passed by Congress! That bill is the next fiscal year BUDGET BILL of over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.

Since this by-pass of normal budgets does not allocate or define any of this money to a specific purpose, it is now  a slush fund the ruling Democrats can use as they please without any control or restrictions.

This Chicago style thuggery Obama has brought with him to Washington must CEASE, SO VOTE EVERY DEMOCRAT OUT OF OFFICE in November 2010 and let us return to civilized sanity!

I think even Obama has given up pretending he is trying to fix rather than destroy America's economy and speaks with knee jerk platitudes to mollify the masses he wants to control rather than restore to good health - physical or economical.

Once again, the Democrats have shown a willingness to bypass procedure to further their own agenda. As Human Events' Connie Hair reported yesterday:

Last night, as part of a procedural vote on the emergency war supplemental bill, House Democrats attached a document that "deemed as passed" a non-existent $1.12 trillion budget. The execution of the "deeming" document allows Democrats to start spending money for Fiscal Year 2011 without the pesky constraints of a budget.

The procedural vote passed 215-210 with no Republicans voting in favor and 38 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote against deeming the faux budget resolution passed.

Never before -- since the creation of the Congressional budget process -- has the House failed to pass a budget, failed to propose a budget then deemed the non-existent budget as passed as a means to avoid a direct, recorded vote on a budget, but still allow Congress to spend taxpayer money.

Representative Paul Ryan issued a statement (pdf) on behalf of the House Republican Budget Committee entitled "The Majority's Budget Deemer: An Admission of Fiscal Failure." Ryan opens with a scathing analysis:

What House Democratic leaders call a "budget enforcement resolution" is in fact just another "deeming" scheme - one that concedes they cannot meet their most fundamental governing responsibility: writing a congressional budget.

They have created a masquerade that only advances their spend-as-you-go philosophy, accelerating the march toward a fiscal and economic crisis.

They are doing so because a majority of rank-and-file Democrats cannot vote for a budget with trillion-dollar deficits.

(And be easily re-elected - in fact the 38 Democrats who voted against it were reportedly part of a charade by Pelosi, who had the 205 votes she needed in hand, to protect their vulnerability in the next election)

As even House Budget Committee Chairman Spratt has acknowledged: "You can say that's a lack of courage."

Ryan's statement further explains that the "budget enforcement resolution" is not a "budget" or a "resolution," and he clearly reveals its deceptive facts and figures.

He concludes by stating: "This is far more than a failure of procedure or politics. It is an abdication of a fundamental responsibility by a Majority that is losing both its will, and its ability, to govern - and it is threatening America's prosperity in the process."

Throw this latest maneuver of the Dems into the pile and one wonders if "threatening" has become something more like "destructing." (destroying/deconstructing)

If Congress can't reign in its reckless spending, America will continue its ride on the donkey's back beyond the "deem'n pass" into territory resembling a banana republic.

COMMENT

Or like the Islamic regime leadership in Iran, which facing increasing pressure from the populace and from warring clerical and secular factions, has suddenly announced that out of some 10 people who were responsible for the tortures and rapes at the notorious Kahrizak prison, two had been condemned to death, eight condemned  to prison, 80 lashes, fines and temporary suspensions from duty and one found not guilty.

However, none of the ten have been named, nor any information released about the proceedings, so it is certainly a sham to appease/confuse and diffuse the populace just as Oba-Hussein is doing in America to grab/retain power.

Moslem Oba-Hussein and the Moslem regime in Iran both use "taqqiyeh" (bald face lying) as a legitimate method to protect Islam and themselves.
