A group of Bassiji (Suppression Force) were accused by Mehdi Karoubi and his wife of attacking his home and "polluting" the peace of his neighbors in addition to firing shots, spraying paint, breaking windows and causing other damage by setting parts of the front of his house on fire.
Electricity, including street lighting, has been cut off on his street to give cover of darkness to his attackers for the vandalism.
The main Bassiji organization has denied being involved in this series of attacks and has blamed rogue elements.
The attackers werealmost certainly members of the Supreme Ruler's son Mojtaba's personal hit squads which he imported (some 25,000 by now) from Palestinian prisons, choosing the toughest looking men based on their being murderers and major assault crime felons.
