Beirut, Lebanon used to have the reputation of having the worst (most daring drivers) now Iran has that position.
A lady I know went back to Tehran from America, for a visit some time ago, after a long absence, and was totally UNABLE to cross streets because of the traffic.

Eventually, another female pedestrian would take pity on her and grab her arm to guide her across. Leaving her trembling, whimpering and shaken at the other side.
She did not even dare to think of driving!
