As a "good Christian" this concept is unacceptable. For an expert historian, it becomes more palatable. For an open mind, not encircled by Christian dogma or Islamic sharia or other religious creeds, it provides lots of food for throught.

It has sufficient basis in established historical written record and veracity to merit a second look - if life-long spiritual beliefs are momentarily set aside.
