WILL THE LEBANESE ARMY SENT TO THE SOUTH INCLUDE "HEZ-EBOLA" FIGHTERS IN DISGUISE?
UPDATE: Lebanese cabinet cancels meeting about deploying forces to the South, 30 minutes before it was due to take place when the senior cabinet member, who deals directly with the "Hez-Ebola" (they are like the Ebola virus) called and had the meeting cancelled. This clearly indicates that "Hez-Ebola" are refusing to be disarmed or as shown below want to receive military uniforms and thus operate at liberty in the "restricted zone". To do this they need time to achieve the cover and ID's.
In the meantime, Syria has moved 30 tanks to the Syria/Golan Heights border and no expalantion has been forthcoming.
As someone remarked, could anything get worse than involving the UN in all this as part of the solution but in reality the biggest aggravation of the problem?
One reply was, yes! Involving the French, who were the biggest culprits in the food for oil scandal or equally so with the UN.
The second part of the comment which indicated the French would happily exchange their mothers for reward may have been a bit strong but shows how they are perceived by so many around the world.
I must admit that I did not know the Lebanese "army" could field 15,000 people and was under the impression that their military was less than 10,000 "fighting" personnel.
Thus when they offered 15,000 individuals to the UN as part of the monitoring force, my mind wondered whether this would include several thousand Hezbollah (or even Syrian or Iranian fighters) being given Lebanese military uniforms and thus have free movement back and forth and "at will" access into the "off limits" or restricted areas of South Lebanon.
Similary, if the Lebanese military arrives with a thousand extra uniforms, they can dress any Hezbollah trapped in the restricted zone and get them out witout anyone noticing.
Am I maliciously maligning the Lebanese? Not at all. Remember the Lebanese military were ready to fight alongside Hezbollah so their sympathies are not with seeing justice done and the UN resolution correctly implemented. In reality, they have a totally opposite mind set.
In both scenarios, the disguised Hezbollah, Syrians or Iranians would be free to carry and transport weapons, ammunition, supplies etc., as they travel in both directions under cover of Lebanese uniforms and Lebanese identity documents.
The UN forces foreign nationals, French, other European or whatever, who might be tasked with preventing Hezbollah activity, would not be able to distinguish between "genuine" Lebanese soldiers and disguised Hezbollah. And if there were any Arab countries in the UN forces, who might - with emphasis on "might" - be able to spot a difference, would they actually arrest a Hezbollah member? To benefit or protect Israeli interests?
To take this one step further, ostensibly Lebanese troops given duties, which include interdiction of Hezbollah activity, could in fact be "disguised" Hezbollah - resulting in the fox watching the hen house. Who - other than the Lebanese military themselves - and they will not tell - would know or could know the difference?
Arms and amunition that was consequently moved to re-arm and re-supply the Hezbollah in the area would pass as Lebanese army requirements and who would be expert enough to tell the difference?
What will happen if the Israeli forces spot this happening and a firefight ensues between the Israelis and some men in Lebanese military uniforms? How will Israel prove that the dead are Hezbollah? Almost certainly the disuised men will have been issued forged ID by sympathetic, senior Lebanese military officials. Or will have these created after the fact.
The only way I can think of to prevent this certain problem is to deny the Lebanese forces from deploying and becoming the stalking horse used by "Hez-Ebola" or other anti-Israel fighters and run into bogus sovereignty complaints by Lebanon rather than clearly creating a huge loophole in the intent of the UN resolution.
If the Lebanese are genuine in their concern and desire for Israel to leave South Lebanon, then they should not object to such an obvious and logical problem that they would create.
As in everything I write, I try to also provide a workable solution not always simply describe the challenge - unless my analytical and experienced mind cannot come up with anything. Admittedly I do not let political correctness or emotion override pragmatic, useful solutions and bow to hurt feelings - in this case of the Lebanese government - which cannot ensure the loyalty of their 15,000 men to the UN Resolution or intentions rather than loyalty to the Hezbollah against whom it has been designed.

Living in the Detroit area I can concur with this, we have more Muslims in our neighborhood every month and they are very active in the schools, preaching all the time about their "rights" and how tolerant we should be of their faith.
However toleration is a one way street with them.
We are to learn about Ramadan, etc. but they are not to learn about Easter or Christmas. What is below is very true.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.
If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation , he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"
He sheepishly replied, "Yes."
I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"
The Imam was said nothing.
I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?"
You could have heard a pin drop.
Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the "Diversification" training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.
I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized.
Believe the Muslims when they speak. They very honestly will tell you the aims of their religion and how they feel about infidels. They aren't tolerant, but they are often honest.
Just as Ahmadi-Nejad means what he says when he states the problems of Islam would be gone if Israel were wiped off the face of the the world map. And shows every intention of making this happen in the immediate future. Like the Imam, he is not lying. Believe him - and stop him.

MIKE WALLACE MAY GET MY FRIENDS KILLED
Alan's note: Received from Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi, worried by the threat from Friday prayer leader Mullah Jannati to kill all political prisoners. He is having them tortured and killed anyway, so the threat is an increase in numbers not a new activity.
The anger and desperation she shows at Western inability to take firm action against the Hojatieh regime in Iran, reflects that of many other activists like her, who feel let down by an apparent inability of Western countries to understand what has transpired there. A neo-Iran regime whose total focus is on bringing back the 12th Imam to redeem the world.
And to accomplish this they must create as much pain, sorrow, destruction, oppression, death and bloodshed as possible to get the 12th Imam's attention and cajole him up from the well into which he went in to hiding as a child some 1,300 years ago.
Do not be surprised if we wake up one morning very soon, perhaps as early as August 22nd (a significant date for Moslems) and find Ahmadi-Nejad has nuked Israel to achieve his deep-set Hojatieh beliefs. He has been making noises that very soon the world of Islam will never need to worry about Israel's nuclear arms or capability - ever again!
Iran already has at least four nuke warheads on Shahab 3 missiles in operational and launchable form. The nuclear games they have been playing are simply because they want more than they have.
When someone like Mike Wallace ignorantly, or as she says narcissistically for his resume, acts as an apologist for Ahmadi-Nejad, the purveyor of apocalypse and Armageddon, then tempers flare. And rightly so.

Mike Wallace and old media dogs like him are the mirror image of the Mullahs. Both these groups of OLD men’s worlds are rooted in an outdated form of narcissim that just does not translate in this world anymore.
Wallace was one of the western journalists responsible for criticizing the Shah of Iran mercilessly in the ‘70’s. He bashed him for being a King…a king in a developing and secular middle-eastern country that refused to allow communism to flourish in his country – a country that had been SCREWED with for 400 years by either Imperial Russia or The Soviet Russia .
Wallace badmouthed the nature of our political history and by spinning a web of deception for credulous westerners helped destroy a country that had also been plagued with a bastardized version of a religion that had cut Iranians down by the sword, for 1400 years.
One of the funny things is that Wallace clearly does not understand that Ahmadinejad is an ANTI-SEMITE. Ahmadinejad has said it again and again and again; the guy even had a CONFERENCE about it . He did call it a WORLD WITHOUT ZIONISM but he continually attacked Jews by claiming that the Holocaust never happened…just like Nazi revisionists.
But of course Wallace, who is another of the long line of self-loathing Jews who make life very difficult for the average innocent Jews, obfuscates and says that Ahmadinejad is an Anti-Zionist...he forgets to mention the fact that the Islamic regime has been reaching out to Neo-Nazi groups in Germany…etc.
Clearly Mr. Wallace, because of his age has developed a selective memory problem!
Wallace has NO idea how his actions and words, in support of the liar and killer Ahmadinejad has upset, not only Iranian Muslims who support a free and secular Iran, he has debased every innocent Iranian jew who suffers in Iran and outside.
Also Wallace NEVER mentions a word about the hundreds of innocent Iranian colleagues of his, journalists, like my own father, who are political prisoners of the Mullahs.
He mentions NOTHING of any of our student activists, one of whom, Akbar Mohammadi, who was TORTURED to death in prison on Sunday, July 30th. He mentions nothing about the treatment that women and children get in Iran…the 11 million out of work hungry workers of Iran and the 42 million out of 70 million Iranians who live BELOW the poverty line.
Wallace is just another psychologically bankrupt narcissist who has given up his conscience and principles as well. At age 88, when he himself is at death’s door, I’m sure he cannot care less about what happens to the world.
I am saddened to see that the American people turn to such cultural imperialist spin doctors of the Jurassic period for information.
Let’s hope that the American people can see through Ahmadinejad’s filth and lies.

If I wanted to act like some “ethnic” minorities who have based their entire existence on vapid nagging, then I could easily say that we, as new Americans who came here with nothing, got decent educations, respect the concept of the formation of this country and NEVER made ourselves a financial or political burden on this country, have been treated contemptibly and Mike Wallace is proof that rather than the injured party being heard, that in this day and age, in the United States, the criminal gets the pass.
Wallace and other fascists disguised as compassionistas can spin their web of deception all they want…they can try to act like this is Bush’s doing but it will never make the actions of the filthy DC politicos, like Brzezinski, Kissinger, Vance, Scowcroft, Baker, Bush Sr., David Rockefeller and so on…who are the founding fathers of the very slimy trilateral commission go away.
They can go ahead and rewrite history all they want by using spin-doctors like Wallace and Rather but the common denominator truth will never change. This business transcends Bush…Bush is now…WHO can tell me what the heck has been going on since the ‘70’s…when the Islamo-fascists were re-empowered?
This is NOT the first time this battle is being fought and if those who want to ignore centuries of history in order to temporarily alleviate the pain of their displaced emotions......If anyone wants to learn to protect themselves, they would boycott Wallace and write to CBS and ask to send him to the elephant graveyard of old and clearly senile journalists.

An Insider Source report on the financial and armament assistance offered to Hezbollah by the Mullahs
This report has been sent in by a reliable insider of the Islamic regime who wishes to remain anonymous:
“As someone who has for years been involved in the financial and armaments dealings of the Islamic regime with the Lebanese branch of Hezbollah, I felt I should impart some of the reliable information. Between the years 2003 and 2004 the equivalent of six billion dollars of income from oil sales went missing and it was not clear how and in what way it had been spent.
After complaints about this matter intensified, in the private meetings of the Islamic regime’s parliament (known as Majles) it was announced that ‘that sum had been set aside as a cash reserve for emergency situations’.
But soon after it came to light that at the order of Mr. Khamenei, $1.5 billion from the total amount had been allotted for buying advanced and modern weapons for the Lebanese Hezbollah.
This amount was poured into an account at the MEAB Bank (bank Middle East and Africa). So far as I personally know this is a violation of the Security Council Resolution 1373 of the United Nations in the ban on aid to organizations that are on the U.N. terrorist list. It is for this reason that the regime’s officials have repeatedly denied this issue.
But if it is proven that the Security Council Resolution 1373 had been violated and the Lebanese Hezbollah had in fact been helped, it can have very serious repercussions for the regime. The regime gave away and gifted billions of dollars to the Lebanese Hezbollah, which I witnessed with my own two eyes but then, in 2004 the regime’s own interior ministry put out an official report that had been prepared for the authorities of the regime that clearly stated that more than 40 million unlucky people in Iran live under the poverty line.
(Hamid-Reza Taraghi, the manager of the MOTALEHFEH political party referring to this report in a February 2004 Jaam’eh-Jam newspaper report, clarified the information and said that in fact the correct statistic was forty-two million people rather than 40 million living under the poverty line).
Hundreds of thousands of educated Iranian youths are unemployed due to lack of sufficient funding for programs to create job opportunities or are not employed in jobs that by no means meet their standard of education. Hundreds of villages and towns and big cities of Iran are deprived of urban facilities such as water pipelines, gas and electricity. Refurbishing roads all over the country, according to officials, will cost all of a half of that $1.5 billion that was gifted to the Lebanese.

Islamic regime plans to dispatch Arabic-speaking Iranians from the city of Ahvaz to Lebanon (Volunteers being recruited from Prisons like in the movies).
According to received reports, the Islamic regime is encouraging young Arabic-speaking residents from city of Ahvaz (Province of Khuzestan*) to participate in the war in Lebanon alongside Hezbollah against Israeli forces. Each person is being offered approximately $10,000.
The Islamic regime has told the volunteers that since they are Arabic-speakers, their presence in Lebanon will not be conspicuous. Volunteers will first go through a short basic training camp in Iran and then will be dispatched to
Lebanon.
Previous reports also indicate that the Islamic regime has also granted full pardons to criminals who are either serving life-in-prison or are on death-row in Iran, in exchange for their "volunteering" to go to Lebanon. The conditions of prisons in Iran is so deplorable that already 400 prisoners have chosen going to war in Lebanon over staying in the regime’s prisons.

LONDON, Aug. 10 -- British authorities said Thursday they had disrupted a well-advanced "major terrorist plot" to blow up passenger flights between the United Kingdom and the United States using liquid explosives, prompting a full-scale security clampdown at U.S. and British airports and a cascade of delays in transatlantic flights.
The plot was well planned, well financed and "well advanced," U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff said at a news conference Thursday morning in Washington. It was "about as sophisticated as anything we've seen in recent years as far as terrorism is concerned. . . . This was not a situation with a handful of people sitting around dreaming about terrorist plots."
London's Deputy Police Commissioner, Paul Stephenson, said 21 people had been arrested in London and in Birmingham, England, after a months-long investigation into what he said was a plan for "mass murder on an unimaginable scale." Peter Clarke, chief of the London police department's anti-terrorism branch, said the investigation reached a "critical point" Wednesday night, requiring immediate disruption of the plot, the arrests and the imposition of heightened security measures.
British authorities said the threat involved terrorists who aimed to smuggle liquid explosive material aboard airplanes in hand baggage, including timers and detonators that could be assembled in flight. British Home Secretary John Reid said the operation was aimed at bringing down "a number of aircraft" -- reportedly at least ten -- "through mid-flight explosions, causing a considerable loss of life."
U.S. officials raised the "threat level" for air transport to red, the highest alert. The terrorists had intended to target flights to Washington, New York and California operated by American Airlines, Continental Airlines and United Airlines, a U.S. official said.
Passengers at all airports in the United States were told to expect intensified searches, considerable delays and new restrictions on carry-on items. The Transportation Security Administration announced that passengers on all U.S. flights, domestic and international, would be banned from transporting any type of liquid or gel in their carry-on luggage. The ban applies to all types of beverages, shampoo, toothpaste, hair gels and other items of a similar consistency, the TSA announced.
Chertoff, who was briefed by the British, said the conspirators "had accumulated and assembled the capabilities they needed and they were in the final stages of planning for execution. . . . There were very concrete steps," he said.
Reid said British officials believe they have "the main players" in custody, but "must always err on the side of caution." While elevating the threat level, Chertoff said officials had no indication that the plot included attacks based in the United States.
In July 2005, terrorists attacked London's subway and bus system with bombs made of acetone and peroxide mixed in plastic containers. Those attacks claimed 52 lives and injured hundreds of others.
Chertoff said the plan, which he described as "sophisticated," was indicative of an al-Qaeda operation, but, he said, U.S. and British officials "cannot yet form a definitive conclusion" about al-Qaeda involvement.
Chertoff said the attackers planned to carry explosive material and detonation components on planes "disguised as beverages, electronic devices and other common objects."
British intelligence agents had followed the "threads for sometime," Chertoff said. The U.S. got more involved "only recently," when it was "revealed that this taking the direction of targeting the United States" by attacking U.S. flag carriers traveling between Britain and the U.S.
"This wasn't supposed to happen today," said a U.S. official who asked not to be identified. "It was supposed to happen several days from now. We hear the British lost track of one or two guys. They had to move. "
American Airlines canceled six Thursday flights between the United States and London to accommodate the delays at Heathrow airport, spokesman John Hotard told wire services.
American held three London-bound morning flights, one each from Chicago, Boston and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. To balance those cancellations, the airline also dropped three afternoon or evening flights scheduled to travel from London to those U.S. cities, Hotard said.
In Northwest Washington, a tight cordon of police security was thrown up around the British Embassy compound on Massachusetts Avenue.
Officials at Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest in the world, appeared on television and asked people not to travel to the airport at all if possible. As they spoke, crowds of travelers were already clogging the corridors and lounges at Heathrow and at other British terminals.
"We believe that the terrorists' aim was to smuggle explosives on to airplanes in hand luggage and to detonate these in flight," said Scotland Yard's Stephenson. "We also believe that the intended targets were flights from the United Kingdom to the United States of America.
Clarke, Britain's anti-terrorism chief, said at a news conference that "a large number of people" had been under surveillance, with police monitoring "spending, travel and communications."
"The alleged plot has global dimensions," Clarke said. "The investigation reached a critical point Wednesday night when the decision was made to take urgent action in order to disrupt what was being planned. As always in these investigations, the safety of the public" was the paramount concern, he added.
Reid, who as head of the Home Ministry is equivalent to the U.S. attorney general, said American officials, including President Bush and Chertoff, were contacted early this morning about the decision to disrupt the conspiracy.
"We believe that these arrests [in London] have significantly disrupted the threat, but we cannot be sure that the threat has been entirely eliminated or the plot completely thwarted," Chertoff said in a pre-dawn statement.
"Currently, there is no indication . . . of plotting within the United States."
The TSA said passengers who need to bring medicine and baby formula on board planes would need to present those items for inspection at checkpoints. In Britain, passengers were being asked to taste these liquids in the presence of security guards. Passengers were also told to expect additional security checks at boarding gates.
The threat of suicide bombers bringing explosives onto planes is not new .
In December 2001, Richard Reid attempted to ignite his explosives-laden shoes while on an American Airlines flight from Paris to Miami. He was overpowered by alarmed crew members and passengers.
In 1994, Ramzi Ahmed Yousef brought explosives onto a Philippine jet and left them on board, killing a Japanese passenger on the next flight. Yousef, who is in U.S. custody, also plotted to blow up a dozen U.S. airliners over the Pacific Ocean the following year.
TSA administrator Kip Hawley said his agency had increased training for agency screeners to find such liquid explosives. "This has been on our radar screen," he said, describing the use of liquid explosives in bombs. "You just don't take a chance with something as serious as this. . . . The measures that have been put into place are very strong and very aggressive and go directly to the heart of anything close to that plot."
